seems there's been a right c*** up with amex on these then.however, they cannot be blamed for amazon splitting my order into 4, shipping it in 4 lots in five minute intervals,( means I have to be in 4 times for delivery), and debiting amex 4 seperate times. something not right?? even I couldn't think that one up;;;;;;0

3>5 days at most normally.e-mail usually instant you swipe the card.theguy on the phone said they have had a few problems, bet he had his knuckles rapped for saying that. twice I was left hanging whilst he conferred with his seniors, and tried to fob me off with the 8 week wait. I said he should put it on now, which he did.Not their normal standard.the boots one was e-mail debit and credit within 24 hours with themNoviceAngel wrote: »Same here, but the £35 debit has just hit my Amex card, so the credit should be in a few days, it never takes 8 weeks unless something has gone wrong, I'll be keeping an eye on my account...
Interestingly, it was a targeted email I received the offer on my Amex Blue but no offer on my Amex Plat.... Strange.......

For any Amex offer, always buy a gift card and then buy the goods if you want to be sure the credit will track.0

did that with shell, but, I needed stuff from amazon, didn't expect them to send it seperately'probably; I thought of a voucher, the voucher, it would have come in one go then probably.? they would have sent, 2 x £10 and 1 x £15 voucher, seperately:-) know ing my luck. I think there was conflict between amazon/amex over this deal. For any Amex offer, always buy a gift card and then buy the goods if you want to be sure the credit will track.
never had amex/amazon deal before.direct e-mail shot.
