Very different. If you presented your goods for payment as normal, they stated a total price, and you paid, they have legally accepted payment for that transaction and entered into a binding contract.
As a customer, you have not been dishonest.
Keeping something you know not to be yours, and there is no grey area - you're not entitled to it. What you do about it is of course down to your own moral compass, but law is clear - it's not yours to spend, in the same way if your employer overpays you, it's not yours to spend.0 -
For Heaven's sake, I can't believe all the high and mighty posts on here telling you not to spend it! How much was the voucher for? £30? Remind me how many billions we collectively bailed out the banks 7 years ago in order for them still to pay massive bonuses to their people at the top? Personally I couldn't get down the shops fast enough0

So OP, put us out of our misery and tell us what you finally did. There will always be:
A “LIE” in BELIEVE, an “OVER” in LOVER, an “END” in FRIEND, an “US” in TRUST , and an “IF” in LIFE0
