Showfilmfirst use many criteria. The demographic the film is aimed at plays a big part. So they'll target males or females and age is often a factor too. The boxes you ticked when you joined saying which genre you like and possibly the films you've gone to in the past. Usually if they can't shift tickets they will send invitations too.
Having said all that, they can still get it wrong. I live in Liverpool but have had invitations to previews in London!0 -

I think I got a London one too! I'm not sure what I ticked actually, been a while :rotfl: Too bad I can't go back and change them. Ah well, would have been great to see something this month as I have time!ally.0 -
I don't really understand where people get all these codes from - I have been with SFF for a long time and never got anything from them directly for movies (odd concerts and plays are sent). Allied code posted on the thread and it was not available in Manchester for me - even though post said it is. I'm confused really how SFF works!
Did you see Manchester on screen with "not available"?
That means all tickets have currently been allocated for that venue. They can go very quickly once posted on the freebie websites.
Do keep checking back as tickets get returned and more released. There also may be a second code with more seats available.0 -
Hi Poochface
I couldn't pm you as all your space has been used.
All dealt with now
Thanks

Just returned two tickets for Allied for Sheffield tonight if anyone is interested? The atmosphere is currently filled with hypocrisy so thick that it could be sliced, wrapped, and sold in supermarkets for a decent price and labeled, 'Wholegrain Left-Wing, Middle-Class, Politically-Correct Organic Hypocrisy'.0

I can't find it advertised anywhere so apologies for the lack of a list of participating cinemas.

I'd imagine they are all available at the time of posting. I've seen it and thought it was very good.
Wow!!!
What a shame that this isn't real. It WAS real when the Sun advertised it months ago and the screenings took place, but right now the only possible reason for the new date is training someone in how to use the system.
This might mean that there will be screenings later on but not right now!!0 -

Why on earth are you posting a list of cinemas for a film that cannot be booked??geordie_ben wrote: »Basingstoke festival place
