Why wont my car sell?

I also think the OP needs to research the price and reduce it accordingly. Viewing the revised advert the pictures are now much better, description is a little sparse.
When was the lifeshine applied, unless it was recent it's most likely lost all its effectiveness and not worth mentioning anymore.
Price wise, when you view the car right at the bottom of the page are two other LPG petrol Astra models showing, one slightly older but with less than half the mileage. The other has more mileage but the same year. Both cars are £1995, so almost 1K less than the OPs car. They also have the luxury of being 4 door with the easier to get out of doors.
I guess the OP is trying to recoup some of the LPG fitting costs, whereas in reality LPG makes a car harder to sell.0 -

The 3 door fetches more money than the 5 and is more desirable but also appeals to a younger audience which the LPG doesn't.
Price is about right if it didnt have LPG.0 -
what the hell are you talking about lpg not being desirable?
LPG conversion means heavily modified. That has to be declared to the insurance company, who may insist on an engineers report before they will insure it.
Too much hassle.
I would much rather have an un-modified car, that I can get insured anywhere. If it sticks, force it.
If it breaks, well it wasn't working right anyway.0 -

No it doesn't, it has been properly fitted as it is on the DVLA as a dual fuel vehicle and probably reduced VED as such.0 -

These days unless you go to messrs bodgit and scarper the conversion will be entered onto the LPGA website as a certified conversion by an approved installer, when this is done the insurer can simply look the car up and see its registered.
I've not had a moments problem getting insured with LPG, and it has cost me no more, but i tend to insure with companies i've actually heard of.
You're best to plan journeys to take advantage of really cheap LPG sources on your route, but thats no different than avoiding motorway service areas for normal petrol or Diesel fuel which any sensible person will.
LPG is not for everyone, one problem being that most people keep a car a long time after spending the money on a conversion, so a recently converted (unless converted to sell which happens now with cars known to be heavy on fuel) car being put up for sale does raise thoughts that there might be issues, unless you've had the car or system before it's not that easy to tell if things are working correctly on a test drive.
Not allowed on the channel trains, and a long time since it was an automatic freeby for the congestion zone in hell city, plus you get some loss of space for the extra tank.
It's good that LPG has so many detractors, if too many jumped on the bandwagon the price and tax on it would increase drastically, so please carry on knocking it people.0
