UKPC not parked within bay markings

Hey guys
Nice to meet you all, have to start off by saying what an amazing piece of web space this place really is - nice people do still exist!!
Now before I come across as a lazy and inconsiderate for somebody else's time kind of person I'd like to state that I have tried searching the forum
I just can't seem to find the answer to my query so I'd greatly appreciate any input you guys may have.
Today i popped into to halfords for literally five minutes to purchase some radiator coolant and came out to see the windscreen slapped with one of those yellowy nuisances. Now I must admit I did park slightly poorly, a quarter of the car in the adjoining bay - I was in a rush. I was only in there for five minutes or less, the attendant must have moved like a ninja lol. My question is can I still follow the newbie appeal
Guide on here even though I parked like that?
Shall I go back and take pictures of any signs?
Thank you xx

The NEWBIE thread is up to date. It says so in one of C-M's posts.
So yes, take pictures whilst you wait for the NTK to arrive in the post. This assumes the event happened in England or Wales and wasn't a hire/lease vehicle.I married my cousin. I had to...I don't have a sister.
All my screwdrivers are cordless."You're Safety Is My Primary Concern Dear" - Laks0 -
Also while you are waiting I would complain to Halfords - showing them your receipt.
Be sure to get the manager too - not some spotty 'yoof' or 'yoofess' at the till.0 -
Yes it was in england, that's fine then I'll just go by the newbie guide, I was just concerned that as I was in two bays that it'd be rejected. Many thanks for the prompt replies!0

I can't get through to halford on the phone, guess I'll pop down again today0

The appeal will be rejected. But then you can beat UKPC at POPLA using the right words (search the forum for 'UKPC POPLA').PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
CLICK at the top or bottom of any page where it says:

Hey guys quick question about this. Today is day 20 and I went about logging onto the UKPC appeals website to file an appeal as recommended in the newbie guide. Upon doing this however I realised that the parking attendant has submitted the incorrect registration for my vehicle - he has mistakenly submitted an "o" as a "0". When I entered the Notice reference along with my actual vehicle reg, it did not recognise the combination, however when I entered the incorrect registration with the zero, it worked. So what do I do, do I still appeal or do I do nothing as its the wrong registration?
Thank you

Have you been to see the manager at Halfrauds yet? If the coolant isn't in your radiator yet take it back with you, demand a refund, and tell him you'll never darken his door again unless he gets this cancelled.Je suis Charlie.0

There was no attendant, They self ticket, someone from the store ran out and ticketed your car whilst they knew you were shopping there.
UKPC are a self ticketing set up 99% of the time.
Having it out at Halfords and finding out why they are sneaking out and putting self serve tickets on customers cars will be a better attack plan.
This affords you a defence of failing to mitigate the loss by warning you they would place a charge on the car.I do Contracts, all day every day.0
