I have a Halifax branch next door to my office, does that count?

    On my highstreet:

    lloyds ?
    halifax ?
    Santander (no chance!)
    TSB?
    RBS - meh!!

I guess an account switch call is in order to one of these that doesn't rob me on a Saturday :)

Maybe you could take advantage of switching offer and move to another bank that suits your needs. The Halifax and First Direct spring to mind at the moment.

That it my question, who suits my needs (basically).

I've banked with the RBS for 30 years so I'll let them address my complaint first then move, assuming they don't fix it. Enough is enough!

The system will not be changing anytime soon they are awaiting for the split to take place between Williams and Glyn which is going to be some time off yet. You`ll get a we are sorry and offer you compensation for your inconvenience no doubt.

I had a feeling after the Santander fiasco that would be the case, the last time I was in the branch they still was using terminal emulators and old versions of windows, it must be very difficult for a bank to keep up, however for me the RBS app and accompanying website is top notch so the account issues baffle me slightly.
