Still not the point they are wrong in taking money to be paid on the 15th on the 13th! They even admit it on their site so why argue!
Who's arguing? If you called them they can could have looked at for you. My point was you was saying your wages was to be paid on Monday. If that was the case the money would have also been in your account aswell. This process has been in place for years it's not something new
You can raise a complaint online if you would like to:

I did call them and was told it was up-to a managers discretion (if I could access my own funds). I put the phone down after saying thank you etc in exasperation.
Yes everything was fine today, including my pay, but the fact is that their antiquated BBC micro systems left me in the lurch over the weekend, they even say that this is not right on their own website.
Just because it's been this way for years it doesn't mean that they should be getting away with it, it's wrong plain and simple.
So my wages was in on MONDAY (TODAY) (not Sat) but ALL of my DD's and SO's were debited from my account on SATURDAY, dated the 15th! Also nothing has changed with the payroll.0 -
So to summarise Saturday should have been a Monday (banking time), with both my pay and bills contra'd from my account. If this is the case why does my pay not show until the Monday (with no payroll changes remember), they are even in the same bank and sort code as me!0

RBS have a weekend temporary credit facility which is NOT managers discretion and can have the money in your account within an hour so you are not left without the funds... they read a disclaimer as the money is debited out on the Monday so no one is left withoutVirtual sealed pot 2019 member #6 :j

I'm just quoting VERBATIM what the RBS advisor told me, honestly, it will be recorded no doubt.
Why should I need a temp credit? Because their antiqued systems took my money from me two days early? On principle this is wrong surely?!?0 -

My understanding is that if you have regular credits to the account on a certain day for example Monday in this case they will allow you access to the funds. It might be worth you raising a compliant the links above.Im an ex employee RBS GroupHowever Any Opinion Given On MSE Is Strictly My Own0 -
Well I have had a monthly salary going in on the same day for the last 14 years and no £ access on Saturday. I raised a complaint earlier.
I put this post up asking for others thoughts on the subject:So are all banks affected or is it only the antiquated RBS?
.....I haven't had an answer yet.
1. My pay was in on Monday
2. My debits an SO's were out on Saturday
3. Leaving me with minus figures in my current accounts
4. This is wrong0 -

I don't mean to be rude but the way that was written (same type of process) is open to interpretation.0
