British Airways the best?

Are they the better British airline? Certainly the most expensive i believe, but are they worth the extra hundred quid or so?
Or.... who is the best to fly with? Not necessarily the most expensive, just the best airline?

the best to one maybe different to someone else.
BA are not necerserrily more expensive and they are not better than most other full service carriers
What is best to you
the best for me on a short haul flight is whoever is the cheapest and who flys from the closest airport0 -

You do not understand what i am asking. Thanks anyway.Owed out = lots. :cool:0 -
Fare buckets change from day to day so BA won't always be the cheapest or the most expensive. But you are asking for a chalk and cheese comparison if you want people to give their preference with an inclusive package on one airline compared to an everything is extra on another.
"Are they worth the extra £100?" On what flight? Yes, if it is a LCY flight that gets me to Brussels in time for a meeting. No if it is a straight flight time/departure and arrival airport when I want to take a packed lunch and no luggage. It's horses for courses. Do you collect miles, does your company pay.....the list goes on.0 -
Emirates business certainly tops BA Club world. Much better quality of food, wine, and overall service.
Flown BA First a few times to LA, but not done first with anyone else0 -
Best for punctuality?
Best for safety?
Best for price?
Best for Customer service?
Best for seat space?
Best for catering?
There are too many variables in 'best' to be able to help.
Flying economy to Europe it makes next to no difference who you fly with. The product is so similar that it makes little difference if you fly BA or Easyjet. BA will give you a drink and snack.
My perception is that BA is a better quality airline than Easyjet, but I have nothing to quantify that. That perception might be worth a slight premium. Would I pay £100 extra for BA? Not for the product, but if it meant flying from Heathrow which is down the road, rather than Gatwick then possibly.
So Photome is spot on. Best is different for each person.0 -

Convenience V price on a European haul flight for me.
On that alone I would swerve BA but only as I am not close to one of their hubs."Man invented language to satisfy his deep need to complain."
