No problem, feel free to 'bump' and encourage everyone to recycle as much as you like ... but it doesn't make much difference as we've still got the same rolls of aluminium foil & cling film that we had 2 years ago!MSE_Andrea wrote: »Bumping for recycle week 2017 which starts Monday 25 September.

I almost never use either. I have reusable plastic wraps with velcro on that I use instead of clingfilm, or I use reusable tupperware to put items which need clingfilm on, into. I do the same for tin foil. I still have some in the kitchen because I haven't thrown the last batch out, but I don't think I've bought new for either in about four years.0

£11-£15 per yearWe have two cookie jars (I think), one has used food/kitchen plastic bags in it, the other is full of these:
Klippits Food Storage & Sealing Bag Clips
You just pop 'the stuff' in a bag, new or old, then clip it shut. When 'the stuff' has been used, the bag (if not broken, or spoiled (has some food in it from say cheese)), gets shoved back in the cookie jar.
The clips simply last forever.Mart. Cardiff. 8.72 kWp PV systems (2.12 SSW 4.6 ESE & 2.0 WNW). 28kWh battery storage. Two A2A units for cleaner heating. Two BEV's for cleaner driving.

We have loads of them too ... most of ours are usually stored in the freezer though ....
