This is what it says about the Grapefruit site :-
https://www.mywot.com/en/scorecard/www.gastronomicgrapefruit.com
However WOT uses feedback and therefore it is not always reliable for newer sites (transportdebate.co.uk does not flag anything)
Another checker is http://www.scamadviser.com/ which ranks transportdebate dodgy - New site
Another weapon for your armoury though
Thanks for sharing this, I left my review on the site and reported to watch.dog, too. I really hope that they can investigate further and close this site down soon to save people's hard earned money.0 -

If its a foreign website watchdog won't be able to close the site down, it doesn't work like that.0 -
I think warning signs of what to look out for on these types of websites should form a VERY large part of the weekly MSE emails. Instead of concentrating so much on how to get a few pence off this, that and the other, as this sort of scam/fraud can catch many people out, and unfortunately it will be the very people who can least afford to lose their money in an effort to get a bargain.
People have got so used to just clicking a couple of buttons on the internet and parting with their money it is often too easy to miss the clues to what is a dodgy deal.0 -

Good point and I agree it should be part of the weekly emails.0 -
Buying any kind of clothing or footwear from the far east, especially China, is a big gamble.
Their sizes are nowhere near accurate to what we are used to and you can bet that whatever you buy will be way too small.
They just cannot get the sizes right.0 -
How are people even finding these obscure websites??? Transport-debate?! gastronomic grapefruit?!
I could understand if the website was "cheapdesignershoes.com" or similar but what are you searching on google to find a shoe site named after a fruit or transport debate?0 -
I also bought from this website bought on the 9th of July ( wish i had seen this post first) did it via my phone.
Bought the Faith sandals and arrived today was some poor quality copy jimmy choo shoes!! from China!
I emailed them but im guessing i will not get a response.0 -
I bought a Ted Baker dress, and they sent me a cheap dress I would never wear. The dress had no tag on it, no details or washing instructions. I wrote to them to say I'd had the wrong item sent out, and got a reply in broken English, saying that the matter was going to be looked into, and never heard from them again. We should make their website known on all forms of social media, to avoid more victims.0

Yes, I too ordered a pair of shoes in a hurry for an event from this website and got a pair of fake smelly Jimmy Choos of the wrong size delivered over a week late from China. Should have checked more thoroughly before parting with money. Never been had before. Luckily the bank is opening a fraud enquiry and I should get my money back. DO NOT buy anything from this website!0

Its a big mistake buying clothing and footwear from far eastern/Chinese companies.
The goods are always on the small size and it appears they have no idea about western sizes.
A big NO. Dont go there!0
