If you had the eye surgery, what would you have done about paying for the car ?
That's a bit of a silly post.
If he had the surgery he would have been able to see the numbers on buses and information boards at train stations so could use public transport.
As it is he has no car and now can't see so he's house bound because of this cruel twist of fate!0 -

If that's the case, he probably shouldn't be driving, and therefore funds to repair a broken car are not an immediate problem.
