Hi all, I went to the supermarket over the weekend to look for decorations for the doll's dress/ballgown. Other than shiny barbie flakes and balls, buttons and silver balls I'm not sure what else to decorate it with. I want to make it look as special as possible. I thought about covering it in buttercream icing which would bring out a pale yellow then I wanted to decorate it with some lovely bits, like flowers and butterflies....can't find these in the shops. Does anyone know where I can get these sort of decorations at a reasonable price? and of course in time. I have to make the cake next Thursday night and will decorate it on Friday night ready for Saturday. Thanks all.

I am going to try this but will just use cheap sweets, love hearts etc for decorations. I am not up to making roses!
