Your buyers pulled out. What did you want them to do?

Nothing is set in stone until the money is transferred and the keys are in your hand. Anything can change beforehand.

Yeah, must be so hard for them to put up with.

I'm sure the £2000+ fee on completion will soften the blow.

It's better to try and get along with people. If you go through life rubbing everyone up the wrong way you will just end up upsetting yourself.

If you behave how you have behaved in this thread, you will struggle to find a new house. Plenty of demand for houses and little supply, sellers have the luxury of choosing buyers without bad attitudes.

EA's are far from perfect, and it's an industry in desperate need of regulations and change. Middle-men are being squeezed by the ready availability of knowledge, and those that do not add value will soon disappear.

In the mean-time, bite your tongue and stop overreacting.
Demonstrating that you are friendly and cooperative is critical.
  • "Now, the best bit is our buyers pulled out and now our seller wants to put their house back on the market. Which is fair enough as he has a deadline. Now you would think the EA would of contacted us and just be straight with us.

No, we saw the property was pulled on right move and was no longer for sale. We had to wait until Monday to get hold of the EA to find what was going on."

    Eh?
    This doesn't make sense

I'm in IT Security. I have often considered creating a new online way of selling houses (different to existing online estate agents), so maybe one day I will be an "estate agent"?

    Right. That old line.
