Great figures. Fully agree about how much you learn on here and what a difference it can make to our futures. So envious of your £1.39 daily interest and it'll be April 2023 by the time I get to that level when you'll be on a cruise living the high life!MFW: Was: £136,000.......Now: £47,736.58......0

Great figures. And yes - we do learn a lot on hereMade it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became
In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!0 -

Morning All
Weather has now broke, a little rain yesterday and ground still wet this morning
Eating out of freezer going well, so far, In the last 17 days spent only £9.60on food shopping, and paid £4.95 on 2 lunches at work. Although my mum did buy me items - value £9.00, but since I pay her mobile (to get my discount) I don't owe her anything
Sorted out Mum's insurance buildings and contents - went up 25% so phoned to cancel, they then said she should have discount as been with them for a few years now. Result is got it for £2.50 more than last year
Visit to @ldi's this morning though. Washing on and 1 waiting.
On the menu today;- @ldi's
- Washings
- Sort Bay "treasures" and List
- Give L/Room good clean
- Have a look at some short term targets re MFW
A few bills coming up next week, and saga of insurance/repairs continue - I'm at a loss really what to do next:( So if anyone has dealt with insurance before, all suggestions and knowledge gratefully received.Always have 00.00 at the end of your mortgage and one day it will all be 0's :dance:MF[STRIKE] March 2030[/STRIKE] Yes that does say 2030  Mortgage Free 21.12.18 _party_Now a Part Timer from 27.10.190 -
Hi AFK
I think I have missed this saga so will go back and have a read. Don't know if I can be helpful but I will have a read and see!
New job is with a brand new start up international college which only teaches sixth form maths and sciences. I'm very excited as its a big job with more money ( which wasn't the original plan) with massive opportunities. Will also teach me loads I expect about education start ups ( which of course I am a baby one of myself!). Seems like the job was meant to be. It's potentially a bit risky as a start up, but as I'm mortgage free there is very little for me to lose! With a big holiday at christmas, am already looking at the possibility of visiting Australia and New Zealand this year.
Have a good day, I'm doing some tidying up, planning and off out for lunch later. NSD for me ( I'm keeping a record monthly, should add these up soon I guess as we are almost halfway through the year )

Have a good day0
