Thanks, hows your fitness plan going?
Spent a lovely day yesterday - chilling, weather was lovely and managed to catch the sun working about the garden. Went to garden centre and got larger pots for my rhododendrons and azaleas, a couple of new hanging baskets, and the bark was looking rather thin, so got more to top up.
Managed to get food shopping yesterday as well, L1dls and freezer shop, just need to pop down to @ldis this morning after I've done my ironing. Then its back out to the garden - plan to spread the bark I got.
Have e mailed the company selling the lovely lamps I spoke of as can't get them, hopefully they can tell me which store has them in stock.
E bay - Feel if you have quite a few items there is more chance of something being sold, so I always try to have a lot on.Always have 00.00 at the end of your mortgage and one day it will all be 0's :dance:MF[STRIKE] March 2030[/STRIKE] Yes that does say 2030  Mortgage Free 21.12.18 _party_Now a Part Timer from 27.10.190 -
Its been a week since I posted on here. And what a week, lots happening/happened
First and worst of all - a large "lump" of cladding fell off the property  luckily no one was injured, but left a nice dent in my sky dish  so as usual - nearly a week later and several phone calls which resulted in 3 tradesmen from the same company come out to "look" at it - and all tell me the same thing
Looks like might be expensivehave been told will get a price on Tuesday.
Feeling a lot better, so had a few slabs delivered (not many) and have started to have a go at laying them, they are so heavy - you've got a lot to answer for Lil :rotfl:
Had no answer to my query regarding my lamps - with everything going on I actually forgot all about themwhich makes me think - I don't really need them.
Work is calmer, so calm - was actually thinking about some O/T  must be feeling better
Opened up another saver account - thinking - it will be handy - still to work out my plan re switching accounts though:doh:. So far I have accounts with (you know me and working out conicidences) CHRST and M for mortgage:rotfl:
Made another o/p of £9.44 during the week to even off the mortgage figure and then today £90.56 making an o/p of £100.00 this week - keeping me still on my target
Have/am going to list more on the bay as soon as I can, hoping this will help with next months o/p.
Lots to do, exciting stuff - hang out washing, ironing, message shopping, then have a go at the slabs again, cut grass, back, front and sides and hedge - so need to go - have a lovely Sunday - bye for now :hello:Always have 00.00 at the end of your mortgage and one day it will all be 0's :dance:MF[STRIKE] March 2030[/STRIKE] Yes that does say 2030  Mortgage Free 21.12.18 _party_Now a Part Timer from 27.10.190 -
Things not turned out as planned today, as I went to hang washing out - a shower came on
Got the front, side and back grass cut and front hedge - good job done
Shopping at @ldi's done - got a bargain too - there was a container with 10 plants in and 3 were probably not salvageable - asked if they would reduce it - got 50% off, along with another tray with petunias - which were all ok but on checking my receipt - 50% off them as well, and an item which would be 2 dinners - 50% off
So with all that done - i'm too tired for any other work, so need to be up bright and early in the morning to iron uniform, shower, wash hair, put bins out, make snacks and lunch for work, and wrap parcel for the bay. I'll need to be up at crack of dawn for all that
So that only left the ironing and slabs - will get round to them tomorrow - maybe
Re -listed a few items on the bay of e - and sold one item alreadyit all helps declutter and o/p

Still feeling a little deflated after dinner last night, even though I have just looked at my mortgage total and my last o/p has just came off
Not happening fast enough need to make other challenges  regarding the house (declutter mainly) and get to grips with being organised
Will have a think tonight and see what I can come up with, all suggestions welcome.
Maybe damage to property is not helping, my pet hate is dealing with tradesmen and insurance, and a week later still no quotes regarding this:(:(
Off for another busy busy day, and have no gusto for it, so will forget about o/t for the moment.Always have 00.00 at the end of your mortgage and one day it will all be 0's :dance:MF[STRIKE] March 2030[/STRIKE] Yes that does say 2030  Mortgage Free 21.12.18 _party_Now a Part Timer from 27.10.190 -
My big declutter plan involved decluttering our storage as well. So I included 1 set of drawers from each bedroom in the tip run. I then got rid of a set of toy drawers as they were full of plastic **** with broken toys, and missing bits. Rooms look bigger with less drawers in them, and overall the house feels better. Admittedly it was a challenge with Mrs SJ when she wanted a side board type thing in the living room but I said no as Itd just get full of more stuff that we should be binning!
My next challenge is to declutter her dvd's...!MFW: Was: £136,000.......Now: £47,736.58......0 -
Hello AFK! You are doing amazing with the OPs! So exciting to see the mortgage dropping down! My OPs also take forever to finally show up on the system...so frustrating in this day and age! Hope your blood pressure is lower and you are feeling better, also take it easy with the garden!

Let me know if you find somewhere that takes them, I have loads, some still with wrappers, that I could be doing with MK'd.
I don't really need to get rid of furniture but do need to get up into loft - I could have another 2 bedrooms and en-suite up there - ....... and I could go on ...:o left my loft hatch open the other day, thinking the workmen might need to gain access, then found a wasp in the hall - so now i'm thinking I've got a wasp's nest up there - a bit paranoid - I knowHello AFK! Thanks Jodles, think it must just be the fact I'm getting messed about by the contractors, so on a bit of a low, most things I try to deal with myself but sometimes - would be nice for someone else to take over, i'm sure they wouldn't get messed about for the last 9 days  like I have.
Anyway tomorrow is another pay dayand I have a little o/t in :rotfl: BUT it's a 5 week month, how on earth am I going to manage
Well first challenge to myself is to eat out of the freezer, its jam packed !!! with what - goodness knows, so will be MK'd food
to make space for the following month
Have just o/p another little amount of £59.44 tidying up my mortgage balance - againAlways have 00.00 at the end of your mortgage and one day it will all be 0's :dance:MF[STRIKE] March 2030[/STRIKE] Yes that does say 2030  Mortgage Free 21.12.18 _party_Now a Part Timer from 27.10.190 -
Another new month, which will mark my 1st birthday at starting my diary - how time flies :rotfl:
Have yet to gather comparison figures to post, but I will, looking forward to seeing just how far I've came since the start of my diary
Slabs are laid - phew, they were so heavy  the bags of bark also laid, and the 4 plants I bought for 10p each have been re-potted into bright colourful pots and coming on a treat - very happy
Still getting the run around re workmen, well not actually them, but the company they work for, when I told one of them, they said that I would be quite within my rights to make a complaint, as if it had happened to them they would not be at all happy. Still waiting on their quote.
Checked my accounts, and although mortgage taken out of account, its not arrived in my mortgage account, but the interest charged arrived safely  right on cue as usual, so wasted no time in o/p the amount of interest charged for the month .... £43.18of which £38.17 came from my bay sales
every little helps
Oh and my lamps that I ordered (may have forgot to mention that) have arrived, so will hopefully pick them up on Saturday  so that's my o/t - spent.
Enjoying this fantastic weather.Always have 00.00 at the end of your mortgage and one day it will all be 0's :dance:MF[STRIKE] March 2030[/STRIKE] Yes that does say 2030  Mortgage Free 21.12.18 _party_Now a Part Timer from 27.10.190 -
