    Yes, thank you.

Got quite a fright. Spoke to one of the nurses who usually takes my bp if I feel unwell at work, if its high they just tell me to phone my gp straight away, this time though took me straight to a&e  a few days later they told me "the last person I saw with bp that high - died"

Trying to rest up but just not in my nature :o even my neighbour says "do you never relax, your always doing something" ;)

Couple of washings done and will chance putting them out, then off to shops, got a rise this month (1% topped up to make £300 over the year ) and have seen lovely lamps that will go nice in my living room, need a walking pair of shoes and some other items, will just go and see what i see :D Going to spend the 1st monthly rise on myself/house, the rest may go on o/p's.

Hung onto my money this month by an extra week :D by paying all my bills a week later, :o it was so nice to keep looking at my bank balances and see the figures a bit more healthy for more than a day :rotfl:

    So now it feels like a 3 week month :D :rotfl::rotfl: Won't be laughing next month though - a 5 week(er) :eek:

    Just o/p £90.45 - mortgage balance now £28,500 :D

Have a lovely weekend all :)

Where's the summer we were meant to have yesterday? Was freezing here yesterday, sun nowhere to be seen overcast most of the day, still washing dried fine, just need to get it ironed - on my list.

Shopping unsuccessful yesterday, the shop only had 1 lamp left, didn't reach shoe shop, and can't actually remember (except for lunch and some food shopping) what my money went on, only know I came back with an empty purse.

Feeling rather tired today so wishing I had a magic wand, will make a list then at least I'll have done something, this is when I feel the house is too big for me.

Speaking of which, a 2 bed has came up for sale only a few door down from me, only wish I had MK'd this house, and I may have just jumped at the chance, had mentioned before of downsizing but never gave it a thought that something may have turned up in the same area. They don't come up very often, has only been another 3 bed and a mid terrace since I bought just over 4 years ago.

Off to make my list and at least I'll feel I'm doing something, even though - nothing.

Just noticed - only a month to go and it will have been a year since starting my diary.

This is when a spreadsheet would be handy. Might start thinking about starting/learning how to do one :o

    Now on my list.

Sorry you've not been well AFK. I hope you're feeling better soon. Please try not to overdo things. I know you find it difficult to rest and sit still but if the Drs want you to rest and your BP was through the roof, you would do well to heed that advice.

Well done with the pay rise and the mortgage overpayments. :j

Bedroom 1 - Bed stripped, washing on, surfaces cleared, dusted and hoovered.

Stopped for a cuppa, then moving onto Bedroom 2.

Thanks, having plenty of rests, but may pack it in, as sun trying to come through, could be time for garden, love it in my garden and being out in the fresh air.
Room 2, just needed a quick square up, but windows another story  so that's one job that really needed doing - done, now to put out washing.

Pay rise was just the cost of living yearly rise, but seeing as how I don't earn enough, they said nobody would get less than £300 a year, so topped it up. As for mortgage o/p's - atm I feel at a standstill, not sure why, but as i'm the most patient person, have no patience for my mortgage. Just not happening quick enough.

Fantastic with another OP and down at £28,500...can't wait until mine reaches that level...about 6 years away  Downsizing is tempting for mortgage freedom I must admit.

Hope the sun's come out and you get to enjoy relaxing in the garden. :)
