I think I am with you on this, I don't have masses of spare, life has a habit of going wrong, I can just see me now stashing into an account and then have to buy a car with it, so back to square one. If it's OP'd I can't get it back
PS not that any bank would give me an account tbh xx
My sentiments as well, I would much rather see the mortgage balance go down, but will always have a little put aside for my EF fund, and can't wait for family to be sorted and my £££ will be mine once again

Afternoon All
I am on the journey, but no diary. I do make regular OP's but at the moment having a ding dong with my bank in how they calculate the interest and also with them not following my instructions.
HTH = hope that helps.
I lurk as I am revising for exams and if I was logged on here all the time, on any MSE forum, i won't get any revision done at all!! I am the queen of procrastination!
Not a Scot in RL...the name is a whole other story!
Back off to RL & lurkdom now.0 -

Oh yes, can sympathise, once you get on here, its hard to log outalso with the calculation of interest, I have payments and o/p disappearing for days - who gets the interest - well, its not me and doesn't come off my mortgage either :mad::mad:
Good Luck with the exams, and hope once you have the time, you'll be back with a diary so you can share your knowledge re battling with the banks re calculation of interest

OMG  where does the time go. I logged on this morning as I had a few emails/calls to make and i'm still here.
1st Issue was battling with the bank that takes the l o n g e s t ever switch. 7 days my @..e. Application made on the 30th November 2015 and its still not all sorted. Had a company that I pay by D/D email me saying the d/d to them is not sorted. What ??? Phone call made :mad: complaint made :mad: then had to pay manually :mad:
Next complaint was I have still not received my rewards for a survey site that states 5-10 days, now 12 days and no sign, so another complain made :rotfl: :mad:
Have loads to list on the bay and no invitation for free listings - yet
Good points
Managed to get an application in for a job that I would really like to do (well if I have to work, then make it something I would love doing)and received a letter for interview for another job I applied for.
Received an invite for another survey - this one pays out very quicklycompleted.
Have been offered to be taken shopping, which is heaven, but usually end up buying a little more as I don't have to carry it all
And had a letter in to say that they will be cutting down some trees :j:j that may be a danger, have wanted this done for a while, just never got round to it, as very dangerous, near to electricity cables so difficult to find anyone who would do it and the cost as well, so they have now decided they will do this themselves.:D:D
Hope everyone remembers when going shopping this weekend that its . Valentine's Day - Sunday :heart2::heart2::iloveyou:

FK
Please don't worry about my name, more often than not, i get the wrong end of the stick and/or conversation, as my mind races on a 100mph!
At the moment, i don't have trouble with surveys but do have trouble with TopCashBack....
Thanks re revision, need it. Am only doing the one exam, but it is 3 hours long!
Am enjoying your journey and have subscribed too.0 -
Well complaining done some good.
Have now received my rewards from the survey site, and the survey I done this morning has also completed:)
Total spends on shopping today was under £15.00, so also pleased with that.
Need to look at TCB as have ££ pending in there. Want to o/p my next odd ££ but going to wait until next week as don't want to wait around 3-4 days to see the rewards.Always have 00.00 at the end of your mortgage and one day it will all be 0's :dance:MF[STRIKE] March 2030[/STRIKE] Yes that does say 2030  Mortgage Free 21.12.18 _party_Now a Part Timer from 27.10.190 -

Edit - forcasts wrong again - we have snow - but not lying as rain has turned to wet snowdebate whether shopping trip is on or not now.

Lol! Love your i not working! ( or only when it feels like it!).
Project today was to fake grass the balcony as they have all just been decorated ( except for the floor!) now, maybe I am OCD but what is the point of that?
So now I appear to have a grassed balcony, with my table and chairs on. My plants and their pots are looking a bit shabby in comparison, but as I am off work this week I shall continue working on it. As I have a south facing balcony it has been warm work for February!
Sounds like you have been a busy bee too AFK
