Ha ha ha! No I'm not presently planning on selling. I actually have some time to decide which is good. I don't need to give notice where I am until end of April ( which was always planned anyway) and new opportunity would begin in September. I think if I just leave it alone for a bit, the right decision will become clear. I'm not actually sure either option is a wrong decision as such, just different.

    Hi Frayed Knot

  • Hi brizzle

:TDoing well with your decluttering:T What do you do with it all ? CS or list ??

I do both - still have the bags ready to go to CS, but what with the weather today - lots and lots of snow, have not moved out the door, so now planned for Mon - weather permitting:)

I have goals - maybe a bit too many for my plate atm, but will work through them and see how far I get, may even try to list them, only on second thoughts would probably take too long, and as my lists go, they grow arms and legs:)

In a hissy fit trying to find my scarf I've thrown all costs and shoes from under the stairs onto the kitchen floor. Oh my word...! Mrs SJ won't be happy when she sees the mess. I reckon we could comfortably de-clutter 30 items. Question is, am I brace enough to sort through mind and leave the rest for her to find when she gets up!!

Edit - my scarf wasn't even there, it was with my gloves on the sideboard!

  • When I have a hissy fit, I start throwing things into the cupboard:) is a bid to tidy up - doesn't work though.

Have reclaimed my spare room no.2 now the furniture I was storing for someone has gone:j so now starting to empty spare room No1 with everything that shouldn't be in there:rotfl: to fill No.2  again:o and I'll be working all my ebay items from room no2, think it will take me till this time next year to get it all listed, and i'm now panicking as start back work Tuesday:mad:

Where does everybody store their listed items ? how do you find them again ? any tips for listing quickly;)

So plan of action is to have a normal house and a dump[STRIKE][/STRIKE], junk[STRIKE][/STRIKE] oops, I mean work room:o that is of course till I get the loft sorted:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: Will someone remind me next christmas I said that:beer:
Onwards, at least I can now see more of the bed and floor, won't look under the bed just yet, as I know there will be more carp[STRIKE][/STRIKE], junk[STRIKE][/STRIKE], I mean treasures to list:D

    Hello AFK

Sounds like a productive day your end. Have made cushions, tablecloth and footstool runner today in new fabric so a productive afternoon for me. As for work, I know it's easy to say but try not to panic. What has helped me is having several other things in the week ( or at weekend) to do so work isn't the focus. Mostly fun things or at least things you want to achieve.

Did you download that passion planner I think I mentioned?

Sounds you had the afternoon all sewn up:) I used to do a lot of sewing myself, an awful lot, but very little now, although did make a couple of things for the house when first moved in.

Work is only panicking me as I will not have the same amount of free time, that I have been getting used to over the past few months.

Passion planner - well my new printer, went walkies, right down to my brothers house - that's the 2nd one, i've bought myself and never even got to use it.

No, no o/p made last night - still feel a bit under the weather, so not doing as much as I had planned.

And, the system you have would work well, unfortunately, you underestimate the amount of items I have to list :eek: but good system for you.
