Sorry to hear about the bug and hope you get some strength back soon :)

You were right on using TCB too, just make sure you've cleared cookies/history if you've visited the retailer before so TCB tracks it's via them :)

Great news on the quick bay sale too :)

Oh, Lil - you as well, fair doing its rounds, loads of people have came down with it, just puzzled how I got it, with not being out. Just so glad I wasn't starting back this week:) hopefully will be better by next week.

    Love the man-flu remedies :rotfl:

Yes, back to work last week and busy too. Should translate into good financials :)

Mum is doing well considering everything and all settled with the new normal. We'd all just got into the new routines etc and her central heating timer broke last night... I swear she wants to keep us on our toes :rotfl:

Could you have handled something you brought into the home prior to Monday and picked your bug up from that?

  • Gradually feeling slightly better, hopefully next 3-4 days should do it. Better anyway as starting back on Tuesday and so much wanted to try and have what I call a "school" week, where I go to bed at a decent time and get up fairly early in prep for working days, however that has not happened - yet:(

Was out for 1st time yesterday since last Friday so it was a "spendy day" however also bagged some bargains from S@ainsburys -loaf 9p, 2 pks links 39p each, apple pie 39p, so very pleased with myself. Other groceries came to £16.25 total. Just need to get batch cooking, now:)

Got £40 from ebay sales, although I pay the postage out of my purse, I pay whatever I have in paypal to my bank acc to o/p - less fees, of course. And received a cheque for £19.80. So can feel an o/p coming up:D but not today as it will take until Tuesday before I see it come off my mortgage.

Weather here is very frosty and can see snow on the hills but nothing at ground level. I love the snow.

Have no idea why I can't sleep but think many have this problem at this time of year for whatever reason, but must move myself and try to get some sleep.

  • I always have a dilemma on what to do about postage costs with eBay. On the one hand I don't want the current account to be out of pocket, but on the other hand I like to see the PayPal balance nice and heathly. At the minute our eBay sales are generating a pot of cash for Mrs SJ to spend on clothes once she gets out of maternity wear!!

  • I know what you mean, when posting a lot just before xmas, I used to look at what was left in my purse, and think, but I've not bought anything, of course it was nearly all going on postage, but never really kept a record of it all - cost wise. So for this NY I have been keeping a "proper" record of all costs, postage, fees etc. Lets see how long that lasts, once i'm back at work.:(

Most in work, think I'm the most organised:rotfl: and still get phone calls saying if anybody knows, I will, as I'm really organised - if only they knew:rotfl:

I think its just my way of TT.:) (re the postage)

    Hi brizzle :hello:

Many thanks, will be a very slow start for the first few months (at most - I hope) with rebuilding my EF and helping family out for the time being, but needs must. I have Easter in my head for being on an even keel:rotfl:you have to have a goal of some kind, right?

Will check out your diary and have a read:) Good Luck with your MF journey.

Off to phone Vod@fone as changed my tariff yesterday and I have a feeling - there's something not quite right:(, so going to check before goes any further.

ps Just saw your signature re decluttering - hows that going? with the amount I have, I think I would need to have a "0" to each of your totals:eek:
