Just received PM from MSE Badger

I am now officially a 2 year member :) and just who would believe what has happened in that 2 years.

MF date was February 2030  With normal payments from today, down to August 2021.

    Reduction so far - 8 Years 6 months :D

Now lets see if I can reduce it by another 20 months . . . . . Target - Dec 2019 :money: if not, then back to my 1st target which was 29th February 2020 (8 years to the day I took out mortgage) Leap Year and 1 month before my big birthday

Put like that - I feel like I'm on the runway

    Hurrah for 2 years!

How much has changed. I think going for Dec 19 is great, but honestly, an eight year mortgage would still be something to celebrate.

Only 4 weeks to go here until the end of term. Then a lovely long summer. Also hope to get last two jobs on current list done before then. I don't want to do either, and it's likely both will take more than 30 mins :D

    Have a great day

    Bexster :)

Thanks everyone for the encouragement, somehow feel a bit flat with it all. Probably just my impatience.

Have another o/t night next week (it all helps) and have another load to list on the bay, always pleased once they are listed and gone, nice drip feed income from the bay atm, which is going into savings account :) but all small amounts - however as they say - it all adds up.

Been over 2 weeks since paid, and didn't withdraw anything the 1st week, so it feels like a 4 week month again :rotfl:(hope you could follow that).

Still to complete insurance claim form :(

Finally some spending news, would like to treat (:shhh:) myself to a couple of pairs of trousers for work and some new walking shoes (and maybe, just maybe) would encourage me to walk to work as well, since I always walk back home from work, saving £'s every week.

Just taking today as it comes, whatever I feel like doing, I'll do. (Looking at my list of "to do's) of course.

    Have a lovely weekend all.

that reminds me of what my mum told me of her child benefit in the days before bank debits, she would aim to make it last 8 or more days, so every 6/7 weeks you have a free week :)

Exactly ! ! ! Just make it last a day/week longer and you feel you have saved a free day/week.

Yesterday went well :j, could have done better but on the whole - very pleased :D

Managed to eventually get to CS and handed in 12 black bags and 2 charity shop bags full :j but a little disappointed when they only marked the reward card with 2 stamps :( however got a jobs worth employee, and it is after all for charity :smileyhea

And of course, no visit is complete at a CS, unless you buy something - bought, and going to try and sell this, hope to make £££'s ;) only drawback is it could take some time, but nothing ventured, nothing gained and didn't cost the earth. Speculate to accumulate.

Another job off my "list" was to line 2 roller blinds with blackout lining for my brother's gf, they could have bought blackout ones, but they were too plain, so they got spit pea through ones for same price but they had a design at the bottom of them

Listed more on the bay, and of course received an offer for selling for £1 this morning, typical. Might just list my sofas, then :D could save a few ££'s that way. Wonder how many end listings and re-list when the offer appears :rotfl:

Today, deciding whether to go food shopping and batch cook or . . . live out of freezer. decisions, decisions.

Have a lovely relaxing Sunday, whatever your doing.

Oh, at this moment in time - so envious - of your long summer holidays.

You have 4 weeks to do maybe 2 x 1 hour (?) jobs, get them done :naughty:

Takes longer just thinking about them, than it does actually doing them, I should know, probably could make a list of all the jobs, I just think about :o

Terrible weather today, put out bedding this morning, lovely wind would take no time at all to dry them, but decided to go shopping, came back and well, just lets say, the're back in the washing m/c.

    Have a good evening.
