Oh what a shame ....but I would go for getting it refurbed as they are such beautiful prams ...I had one for DS nearly 50years ago and cannot for the life of me remember what happened to it:( but to replace now we are talking in excess of £1,500:eek:and after seeing the little Princess Charlotte in her coach built pram at her Christening its a no brainer .....just Nannylala's opinion ;)

yes I thought the same Nanny:T it was the christening which prompted me into getting it down from the loft, and as the royals live in the next village to me we may always bump into them pushing our silver cross prams:rotfl::rotfl:

I have stood my 3 wheeled version outside in the rain, and the hood and rain cover have come up a treat without doing anything to them:)

    Morning all x

Anyone got any idea of what the Butter pudding my mum used to have instead of Yorkshires when I was a child was, It was crispy on top and sort of crumbly inside and really moreish when it soaked the gravy up, I have tried Googling but the internet doesn't seem to know what I mean, lol!

Do you mean batter pudding? - if you google baked batter pudding a few things come up - not sure if they are what you are after though

Edit - or maybe suet pudding? My mum makes that sometimes and it has a crumbly texture (she sometimes roasts it under belly pork which is mega yum :D)

Talking about clubcard points, I got a DTD on an actifry a while ago. The only reason I managed it was the SA on the Customer Services counter was one I had never seen before. She did need a gentle reminder that it should be DTD, not just "the price it says on the SEL", but that is not the story! Not only did I get paid £4 to take it away, she did not remove the clubcard points as they often do, and consequently I have 8p fuel save on my card :D Never had that much, lucky to get up to 2p normally, but OH is grateful for every penny!

    AS AN ADDED BONUS
getting 3v cards, regularly gets me 20p off per litre.

Queen...what part of the country was your mum from...it may have been a local variation on a yorkshire type pudding....or it could be that she just adapted her own recipe

Norfolk. I remember knobs of butter rough rubbed into some flour and salt & pepper, eggs and or milk to make a sticky mixture put it into a butter dish and cook until crisp on top and crumbly inside.

Ta for this, worth a try anyway, if not for this quarter they will go onto the next one.

I've done so few Mr T shops that one account has under 150 for a mailing and the other just over. I knew the totals were not going to get any better so I converted some of my TCB stash - just the ammounts I'd accumulated with the clicky snappy items - I really wanted to hang on until after Christmas which is closer to my TCB anniversary dates but needs must.
Not that there was anything exciting in the last end of quarter mailings - not a points voucher or MOC or nothing and when I have ventured in the till spits have been pitifully few

So I thought drastic action is needed, sooner rather than later as I know it can take up to 2 weeks for them to show on your CC account

This reminds me - seem to think I have some wombles to add ...
