:rotfl: you can blame us both now

2 weeks lucky you, have a lovely time...as it's our first venture out of the UK with the monkeys we decided to go all inclusive.... So now I need to loose weight so I return weighing the same as I am now;) if that makes sence :rotfl:

I need to find a list of what can and can't go in hand luggage, it's been that long all the rules have changed now:)

Do your research very carefully - some airlines allow hand luggage in the cabin plus another small item eg a handbag but others don't - there was a news article a week or so back whereby one of the budget airlines are insisting handbags have to go into your cabin bag, not separate :(

Also see if you can check in online before you get to the airport and also if having your boarding pass on your phone costs extra

    mind field

Referring back to what several people have said, why are the summer hols starting so early - I know my gang had to struggle onwards until the 3rd week in July - the scout week away was always scheduled for the last week in July.

Do they have longer than 6 week off now or do they go back very late August or very early September now?

    Thanks... It's a mine field isn't it.
I was trying to explain to DD about the baggage handlers yesterday :eek:by throwing a cardboard box around the kitchen simulating it's journey to the aeroplane :rotfl: she wanted to use her birthday money to buy a matching Minnie mouse luggage set... She soon realised her nice new case wouldn't stay nice and new for long:( so she decided to save her money :T

    Sensible girl :money:

6 weeks still here but regions vary. Here it's 17th July until 2nd Sept... However L33ds just a few miles away varies by 1 week they don't break up until the 24th July..

I think certainly in our area they seem to be having longer summer holidays and shorter ones elsewhere in the year...christmas seems very short this year as its back to school on the 4th Jan
