Plenty of rain in Cardiff today and it hit the ground :D

Rained on and off all morning, was quite refreshing

We usually get cardiffs reject weather :rotfl: you clearly needed it more in Cardiff than we did here :p:rotfl:

None here at all & we're only just over 20 miles away. 3 miles away was apparently the hottest place in Wales today, although, I think if we'd had a weather station here we'd easily have beaten it, our thermometers said 35C:eek:.

The A/C unit has been a blessing today but I think we need to try to attempt to put it in the bedroom we sleep in tonight - not sure if we'll succeed though.:( It's such a big awkward thing & was bought for when we were working from home, we nearly got rid as it takes up so much space.

Yep Bubbs - I agree - better to be cold than hot. If only we had a bed in here! At least we do have 1 room in the house that isn't like a furnace.:o

Why oh why did my freezer have to be out of action now

The first thing going in it when it is fixed on Friday is potential ice cubes and ice cream :D

Trying to get a shop put together against Waitrose. I have toblerone, Udis and muller (I can only find 4 mullers that compare available). Notice that beef and ham are at silly prices again - 29p ish for 100gm. Not carried at our A's but might be carried in more affluent areas?

    Anything else good for Waitrose?

I'm sat here freezing as hubby has A/C unit on full blast as hubby was finding it difficult to breathe in the heat. I think we bought the unit about 4-5years ago & can count the number of times it's been used on 2 hands. Brrrrr

what ones please, ill get me dog some beef.
