What I can't understand about all this with the immigrants is when people try to defend them when they are arrested, and say that they have not broken the law. They are ILLEGAL immigrants, if they thought they had a chance of getting here legally then they would. Also, why do they not declare themselves as refugees when they enter a safe country? Because they are not genuine refugees! Talking about the ones coming from across the channel, the ones escaping from the war torn areas are different of course, and should be offered refuge in the first safe country they get to.

    Good Morning all.

Had some " fun " in Home Bargains yesterday. As we haven t got a Jack Fulton s here I thought I'd try somewhere else. Well I saw the said crisps in HB for 15p a pack.

Thought the best deal would be a box for £7.20  not £2.99 but oh no no boxes. So I piled 48 in a basket and got some interesting looks shall we say and went to pay for them.

Only managed 3 winners but still it covered my costs and £4.80 profit plus loads of crisps. Now I don't eat crisps much but will soon go divided between my 3 kids and hubby.

Funny thing is I'm tempted to do it again lol, the things we do for a few pounds lol. These captcha s are a damn nuisance though.

Can you tell me in detail what this is all about with the crisps please? Which crisps? Do I get singles or boxes? What is the deal? Is there a code inside the packet or something? What do I get back? Many thanks.
    Abe.

What time did they eventually roll up at?

I remember the misery of the delayed school coach thankfully it was before the days of the Internet where you could torture yourself as to how the motorways were running and accident reports ...

    Good morning everyone.

    Thank you for asking:)
They eventually got home at 12:20, 6 hours late but all safe and in high spirits from their adventure. I really shouldn't have checked the news as they always show the worst and I was pleasantly oblivious to the strikes and riots until the school text us.They have been given to permission to go into school late today, my son is still asleep and he's normally up by 6:30 and I'm lying in bed busting for the loo but daren't I case I wake him!

Good gracious me all these questions lol. It's all been talked about on the thread. Basically. Walkers ready salted crisps have an offer where 1 in 6 packs win a free lunch for £4. I Wasn t that lucky but hey ho.

Some lucky folks on here have a Jack Fulton s shop where they can buy a box for £2.99. The code is on the outside of the pack and has to be done online. They are 15p a pack in Home Bargains . You can buy 1 or 100 I suppose to try your luck hth

My kids as they were growing up always had a knack of getting on the coach or minibus that broke down...one time one was 3 hours later back to school than anticipated...they had actually been playing in a school match that was 10 mins down the road from home but were not allowed to make the journey home on their own...instead had to "rescued" by a tow truck and driven to school which was a further 12 miles away.

Good morning all. We have a beautiful sunny day here, well it is at the moment anyway. Going to have a read back and then get out in the garden. The grass needs mowing and the weeds need a good slapping for looking at me like that! Give them a little bit of sun and a downpour of rain and they think they own the place :D

    Thanks all :A
Glad that he's finally at peace. He had no quality of life and it was hard for my Mum and his wife watching him suffer.
LFAB, sorry you're having a hard time. How awful that people have been gossiping about you. Hopefully Karma will bite her on the bum x
cjj and ILGD congratulations to your clever DCs

I know the feeling. I've made a rod for my own back though, the strawberries and blueberries are netted off and I need to weed round them too, though I think I might leave the weeds in the strawberries for a while so they have something other than soil to rest on (good excuse anyway :D)

    Morning all

I've finished my nights this week and am off now until the weekend :) The weather forecast is looking good for today although it's still pretty overcast this morning. I will try and find something nice to do today with DS2 to keep myself occupied. I got the phonecall from my Mum this morning that I've been on edge about to say that my GDad has passed away :(
    Sorry for your loss ((hugs))
