    Morning all

I've finished my nights this week and am off now until the weekend :) The weather forecast is looking good for today although it's still pretty overcast this morning. I will try and find something nice to do today with DS2 to keep myself occupied. I got the phonecall from my Mum this morning that I've been on edge about to say that my GDad has passed away :(

This is the last day for the reduced price Cranberry Juice at Lidl. You can get it for 45p by using the coupon on page 12 of the metro newspaper :)

I'm so very sorry to hear your news but was wondering if this was the case from some of your recent posts. However you seem to be focussed......especially on finding somewhere to live and I know it's good to pour your energy into something productive. It might help take your mind off some of the crap:o
TS and VT can hopefully offer you some practical advice and emotional support too but don't hesitate to contact me if you need someone to lean on.

Just been to m'stone to pick up dd and it's a lot better than earlier which took nearly 2 hours for a 25 minute journey
My ds was on his first foreign school trip to France today, they were meant to be home at 6pm, still waiting for them to return. It's the teachers I feel sorry for, 60 12 yo boys since 6:30am and been stuck in a coach for last 4 hours.

What time did they eventually roll up at?

I remember the misery of the delayed school coach thankfully it was before the days of the Internet where you could torture yourself as to how the motorways were running and accident reports ...

Sorry to hear about GDad logie. I hate that "waiting for a phone call" period when someone is very ill. It saps your strength and makes you jumpy.

Good morning all, bright sunshine here :D
    Thanks TS. And TM :A

I'm just at what feels like a huge crossroads in my life.
I've split up from my OH and things are really up in the air at the moment and I'm kind of floundering and then to get back to work and find out everyone knows my business, well that was just not what I needed. Thing is, the person who's done it is nasty and vindictive and is determined to cause trouble for me :(
Apologies for offloading on here :o

So sorry to hear this, I knew you split up but the idea of someone deciding to be so mean is awful :( The best thing you can do is simply try to rise above it, probably not the easiest thing in the world, but if this person is trying to upset you then you need to le them know they haven't managed it. I am fortunate enough never to have been through this so really know nothing about how it feels, but it sounds almost like they are back in the playground playing silly beggars :(

Plan of action for today is to see if the chestnuts in my freezer are still any good, if so I am making a conserve. First things first though, I need to pick and weigh my strawberries so I can leave them to macerate overnight. And I suspect I have got to remove a lot of the home grown fruit from the freezer and put it on the compost bin :(

I am now putting into place a plan of action on refilling my freezer. I have two survey sites with £10 M&S vouchers ready, so am hoping the dine in for £10 meal will be around the time that it is fixed (no idea when that will be yet), I have a PP for £3.56 and a gift card for £8 from Tesco too. Other than that I suspect a bit of whoopsying and a few trips to Lidl will soon see it full again.
What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare

Freecycle - there is always someone wanting a box of crockery.

I am thinking how nice it would be to get 6 matching mugs from Home Bargain and then put every other mug in the house into boxes to freecycle :)
