My grapevine is still growing, raspberries are just developing, spending half my time picking plants out of the lawn:eek:

I have loads of bunches of tiny grapes. :D

It was only 3 raspberries that were red and Mr TS ate them.

Does anyone have virgin TV with multi-room. I'm trying to persuade the men in my house to give up Sky and need all the facts.

The only reason I would move to virgin is the speed of the internet.. sky is better and so much cheaper. I have 55mb with sky and could have double that with VM.

When you have kids downloading stuff all the time you need fast internet. even with 55mbit they seem to drain it.

Ive got a grape vine in the conservatory...loads of leaves and a few tiny bunches but they never amount to anything before they wither...I think its because I train the leaves to cover a large area around a pipe and I dont allow the grapes to flourish....

But then again I'm not the best with plants.

I am going to have to go pick up DD2 for a wedding Friday.

End of exams Thursday so she shouldn't drive back early Friday morning. I have to get to Stoke and back here by 12.30ish.:eek:

I wish she had mentioned it ages ago as no cheap tickets left on the trains this late in the day. :(

At least get to drive my new car for first time on the motorway. :D

I will ask OH later, he knows which bits you should cut off end of each season or beginning of next. Ours is outside can't believe how well it looks we had some lovely bunches last year. Quite small compared to supermarket grapes but lovely flavour, skins a little tough but good fibre. :o

Going very slowly this afternoon:( - I've just put the final items, for this round, onto the list: the UB sauces. I'm not bothering with the rices as the packets are way too dear - they are always smaller than the 1Kg SP Long Grain Rice and even the 500g version of UB, which is Long Grain Rice, at £1.04 in M is half as much for much more than twice the cost:eek:. There are others - 250g - at 84p, including some Basmati ones - careful, not all of the 250g ones are 84p in M, some are £1.69 & 2 for £3! - but I'm sure better deals are or have been available, on much larger packs elsewhere, and at 84p they are way too expensive for the amount of rice - they would have to be 10p or lower before I would be interested, as otherwise SP Long Grain Rice would be cheaper!! 10p. That's what price 250g need to be before they match SP Long Grain Rice's price.

I'm adding the UB Sauces though. A small number of them say 500g on the offer labelling I've seen in M but that's an error - they are all 450g. Maybe there has been a downsize from 500g to 450g at some point in the past? However, I think 625g Sweet & Sour would previously have been better, as I seem to have a vague memory that they went to £1.19 in M, which would equate to having to have the 450g at a little over 79p before they became as good priced. At 84p, they are a little over that:(. (10% cheaper doesn't change things there, as if you got 625g comparing before it would have been 10% cheaper than £1.19.) Note: the 625g version is *not* currently £1.19 in M but, as far as I know, is full price! Nonetheless, if I add at least some of the 450g ones to my basket on msm - they are currently £1.76 in A - a couple of varieties aren't stocked in M, as far as I know and this is supported by msm, so only pick from the ones on my list (comprehensive once again, as ever) - they show that I can "save £1.12" by swapping!

Apparently that 'saving' is achieved (must be some weight-adjusting) by swapping to, for example, the CBY Cantonese Sauce at 84p:think:. Not sure about that, as wouldn't then get APG - might not get APG anyway if they didn't pick up M's price on the UB version:rotfl: - but, if it worked, would have 10% off 84p for UB. However, A's CBY are 500g, which is more than 10% more than the UB (UBs might give about £1 each to the APG rather than the supposed msm "saving" of £1.12 each by switching to CBY and buying that on a "cheaper in A" shop), so the CBY work out 'better' (though not helping you to spend those higher value vouchers and get a money-off voucher back). Maybe the UB are too dear:eek: - and why do I bother anyway as SP Sweet & Sour Sauce 440g is 30p (maybe a bit cheaper vs M at 26p)? Although it's 10g lower than the UB, it's still much much cheaper than the UB Sweet & Sour Sauce. The UB Sauces get onto the list. Avoid (:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: , I say slightly sarcastically, if ever I can:D!).

I should explain, at the moment we have virgin broadband and that is fast and 4 of us using it on 2 devices each plus the iplayer on TV. So that has to stay.

Then we have sky TV, because the men won't let it go.

    Then we have BT phone.....

So something needs to give. So I thought we could move the phone to virgin, but apparently Sky multiroom won't work with virgin phones.....

My mystery wine has arrived. Looks a good selection for the bargain box. Have a Vintage wine among them not the really expensive stuff but happy to get one.

Will add it's worth up later. Did anyone else order any?

All boxes still in stock except no fizz this time.
