    Good morning.

Lurk or post. Glitch shop, or muggle. Stay on the thread or go.

Whatever you decide to do, please just be happy in yourself. Life is too short to be upset and from some of the circumstances people share on here (and keep to themselves), there is a lot going on in RL for many of us.

It is so easy to read intent and tone into messages that were not intended, or were simply typed in haste or not fully thought out. It is also easy to read into why people are posting or not posting on here, when it may be we are simply busy with RL or other interests. In RL I have found for tricky emails that I am increasingly typing replies, saving them as drafts and finding when I go back either it isn't worth sending or needs rewording. Forums are instant and you do not have the benefit of reflection before they appear (and people can reply before you can edit or delete :o). I even reflected on this after posting and made a few changes ...

Anyone up for a gamble to lighten the mood on here a bit?
Walkers currently have a promotion running where you can win a £4 voucher to buy yourself lunch. You enter the code from packs with the offer on, and it says 1 in 6 are winners, and if you win they will send you a voucher.

    so far so good.

Jack Fultons (Fultons Foods) are currently selling boxes of 48 of these promotional crisps £2.99, so theoretically if you buy 48 packets you should win £32!! Well probably not, but you only need 1 winner to be in profit.
The £2.99 price seems only to apply to ready salted, and possibly tomato ketchup flavours, and sadly for those down south I think Fultons is only in the north.

Reading the codes makes you boggle eyed, but hey its a bit of fun!!:o:o:o:o

Hi Lesliejack - this is a great deal, thank you so much for sharing. I picked up a couple of boxes yesterday and am just debating whether to get a couple more today. Did you ask for your vouchers by post? Have they arrived yet? Looking through the terms and conditions - I think you can practically use the vouchers for anything as long as you buy a packet of walkers - so you get a voucher for £4 take it to Sada, buy 1 packet of crisps and then anything else you want - provided its food. So, if I want to buy a pack of chicken breasts - I can!!! This is amazing - is this your understanding too?

I apologise if I have offended you. And yes looking back maybe I did not phrase well how I asked after them. Yes I was genuinely concerned. But I think there were crossed messages as we had spoken by two different medias. I had asked you before I had heard from them and you replied over a week later maybe technology had something to do with that as you know I couldn't understand it when you replied but I thought we had sorted it.

I have greatly valued your friendship but felt the post was aimed at me and wished greatly that you could have spoken to me privately about any misunderstanding which there seems to have been.

And an honest answer, I thought I had told you I had heard from them which seems to be the root cause of this upset. Also I didn't push further to yourself or said person when they said they were busy at work I thought no more of it. But will admit to checking if they and you were around at times because I have missed you both. Guess it is sad I have put such value in online relationships, I lost a lot of my real life friends while looking after my mum, and I still have not had the confidence to go out properly into the real world yet.

I can do no more than apologise for any misunderstandings which in the written word can happen so easily........

You don't need to apologise. end off. posting a private conversation on a public forum is done to stir it up.

Have to say, inappropriate to reveal information about private messages/conversations - very surprising, especially given your line of work FC.

I'm happy to be upfront and tell you that I've reported this.

I also reported it. more then happy to say that to. Just like the likes.. it should show the members who reported each post. I don't have anything to hide.

Got my 2 boxes of walkers crisps, thanks to coupon Kathy getting me them. I have been house bound due to one of my daughters having the sickness bug. I have won on my first bag! Opted for coupon rather than uploading receipt.

Does anyone know if there is a way around of claiming more than 5 a day, do you have to use different email and mobile number?

    Thanks x

No problem at all, the lad in the shop even carried them out to the car for me - fantastic service. I am just debating whether to get a couple more today - if you want some, let me know xxx I can't go this morning but if I feel ok might venture out this afternoon x

DS2 brought home the same packet of Daz that he took to uni 4 years ago and it was half full.. He told me he has been following the instructions, putting half to three quarters of a scoop in a wash...... I put his towels in the washer, and used the Daz.... and realised he was using the scoop from a porridge container !:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Mine has also brought home all of the household cleaners and toiletries I gave him 2 years ago. When he moved house last summer we took up a huge pack of household stuff including liquid tabs and shower gels and it's all come home. The only thing he seems to have used is toothpaste and washing up liquid - very strange.

I bet he used the washing up liquid as shampoo and shower gel? :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
