I have eventually caught up....

Stinky and Emerald, can you let me know what the glitch is for the children.... they are rather lovely x

TS, great to see you back (and nikita)

FC, life is tough at the moment for you. We are still here for you.... x And I have no idea who is not posting!!! SSM's head stuck back in the sand!

The good news is DS2 is home (my house is wrecked and he has already withdrawn to his bedroom).

DS1 is on the plan home

DS3 is on his first shift in his new job.

The bad news, is OH father has been ill recently various tests nothing came up until today when he was diagnosed as having cancer, he is expected to have days maybe a few weeks. I came home from work and OH was in bits. Sadly it looks like DS1 is coming home to see his granddad die... makes you realise what is important

Hugs to all x

How sad, sorry to hear this x :A
We're just happy to have a home, a family and our health. Whatever else is just added and it fits. :)

DS2 brought home the same packet of Daz that he took to uni 4 years ago and it was half full.. He told me he has been following the instructions, putting half to three quarters of a scoop in a wash...... I put his towels in the washer, and used the Daz.... and realised he was using the scoop from a porridge container !:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

mullers how many do i get please?

As many as you like, multi is missing but in-store 6 for £3, 10 for £4, worth noting that above the 10 they are charged 68p each (you don't get 12 for £6, 20 for £8)

12 give the best return (untested, note no more than 10 of any one flavour)
most people buy 10, you get a little leeway if one was N/A trying to match a competitor's 6 for £3 offer.

10: 6.80 v 5.72 (-10% 5.148) -1.148 4-1.148 2.852 0.2852p each
6: 4.08 v 3.00 (-10% 2.70) -1.38 3-1.38 1.62 0.27p each
12: 8.16 v 6.00 (-10% 5.40) -2.76 5.36-2.76 2.60 21.66...p each

Very sorry to hear your sad news. I don't need to tell you to make the most of the time you all have together:(. Enjoy having a full house

Whether you decide to post or not. I have nothing but respect for you.
Thank you for being a great friend even when your own life was unravelling.

The 'Bunny' is safely in the hutch. :rotfl:

Stinky he is so lovely. I hope feeding and sleeping is going well and that lil stink is not helping too much.

Well I have shut the door on my family home for the very last time. Strangest thing is I didn't live in it for long, only 8 years out of the 38 dad lived there. My sister only 4 years but it was dad's home. A large house he refused to sell as he wanted to make sure we could always return home if needed.

Lovey extended weekend with family and hysterically funny video of dgd playing her new guitar (or ta ta) as she calls it. Even does the Suzy Q bit with her legs:rotfl:

Trying to find a break now. Free to go from 27h but finding it hard to find what I want for a single traveller.

M list - I've not yet finished:eek: but not too much still to add:cool:. I'll continue in the daytime tomorrow:cool::cool:. Main outstanding ones are the Robinsons 1Ls that are back at 74p in M. However, Regular Orange 1L was 69p some months ago (doesn't seem to be available now) and Savers Blackcurrant Squash 1L is always 30p.

[EDIT: Oh, and the Oetkers Pizzas to the extent that M stock them, are £1.49. The UB Rices, only some of which are at 84p in M, are still more money than sense IMO for such small packets of 250g, although there are some sauces (450g) at 84p too. Not bothering with Hula Hoops or Seabrook Crisps as way too dear:rotfl: - you can see them on m.com/msm anyway, but there are some 'new' Puft [sic] Cheese and Puft [sic:rotfl:] Salted Hula Hoops multipacks - not sure if they could be triggers if A stocks them too but doesn't seem too worthwhile IMO as you'd lose comp. vs 87p on a trigger, so lose more money than if they both appeared and compared even from adjusted-down mbuy pricing.]

Cif Ocean Floor Cleaner (1L) £1.99 in M and 50p "More" points (notice how I've stopped mentioning the number of points and just gone to the pence equivalent:cool:). £1.00 in T, S and A.

Goodnight!!:):)

I had an orchard voucher for money off berries or cherries.

SA: You can't use it because strawberries aren't berries.
me: What are strawberries?
SA: They count as fruit.
me: Aren't berries fruit?
SA: no, berries are little round things. (She even drew her figure in the air in a circle to explain what round meant).
me: I think strawberries are berries, that is why they are called straw _pause_ berries.
SA: No, berries are blue. Blue little round things.

:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

That's only if they are blueberries presumably:rotfl:. Apparently, it seems they were technically right to refuse for strawberries as strawberries are not true berries:

http://www.omgfacts.com/lists/3818/A-strawberry-isn-t-an-actual-berry-but-a-banana-is-ab657-3

I think you should have tried to buy some bananas instead. Last time I checked, bananas are not blue. However, despite this, they are berries. I suspect you would have had an even more funny look for thinking that bananas are berries - I think probably not many people know that. I blame the ignorance probably of the marketing people that write the vouchers that do not know what the words they use mean and don't know what they are making the voucher valid against. Until they get someone like me presenting a banana and trying to be a smart [aleck]. I once bought some Oven Bottom Muffins with a coupon off Muffins that initially wasn't accepted by the computer system. Of course, there are two different types of "Muffins": the oven bottom bread type and the scone-like type - I knew, from the context, "cakes or muffins" that they probably meant the scone-like muffins but, nonetheless, they did not say that and clearly an Oven Muffin (that's cheaper at the competitor:D) is a "muffin". That was accepted (although I suspect the person writing the coupon did not mean what it said).

I'm very good at picking holes in things and identifying ambiguity:rotfl: (of which to take advantage:rotfl::rotfl:) - same thing that gets me 'stumped' (slightly) because something isn't 100% totally clear (such as Birds Eye Chicken offers:rotfl:) is also the thing that gives my attention to detail (allegedly:rotfl:) and ability to see several different meanings, whether intended or not, when more people often see just one meaning (whether right or not) and therefore don't struggle about something not being "clear" as they get the one meaning and think it means that and, usually, it's not too important what the intended meaning actually was. (But sometimes my 'picking holes' in something causes me audibly to make a comment that causes :o:o. On occasions, more than once, I've blurted out something I was thinking (even if, as ever, it was something that was true) and learned that that wasn't quite the "right" thing to say:rotfl:.*)

Back to the coupons, also, separately, I had a coupon off "cookies" refused for Oreo Cookies, as "they are biscuits not cookies". Well, why are they called "cookies" then? Of course, they use the American term "cookies" there, which means "biscuits", so are not actually cookies but I was trying to push it (particularly as the Oreo "Cookies" were significantly cheaper elsewhere), although nonetheless for all I know the coupon could have been using the American English term! Oh well, never mind, don't win them all:cool:.

* I suppose, in a way, it's a "shame" that the rest of the world sometimes can't take on board things that are true, that identify a fault and might therefore improve things, and instead gives social disapproval and, in a way, discrimination against your own truth-telling, but that's just the way things sometimes are. Indeed, identifying that someone is at fault is often the wrong thing to do as no-one wishes to hear that, of themselves, especially if it is true (or has a ring of truth to it). So, yet again, I've hit the nail on the head and truth is punished whilst lies are rewarded (to some extent, in some situations) whilst "everyone" claims that telling the truth is the right thing to do but, yet again, is lying about that as they do not really mean that (certainly they cannot, it appears, take a truth in all circumstances - people generally say they can. But they can't - it's just something they say, that, as usual, they don't truly believe to its full logical end or, if they do believe it, or claim to, they don't act in accordance with that supposed belief).

I'm back after being in the west country for work.

This last year has been so hectic with various things that I've not been able to post regularly and keep up with assorted problems.

I feel I've been neglecting too many people. Will try to catch up.:o
