cjj - re the hotel in Birmingham - have you looked on Holiday Extras as many of hotels near can be used for Birmingham Airport. Don't forget they make a price promise of money back after the stay if you can find cheaper!
Hotel 1 night with parking all in for a day.

There is a fair bit going on that's not good ! Far too much nit picking, people being over critical, offense being taken and a bit of general nastiness. Much of it seems to have started with the opening of this thread with many people having long memories and finding it difficult to accept Henlan as the starter. Stuff like this seems to rear it's ugly head periodically when there are fewer glitchy bargains about - isn't there a saying about the devil and idle hands ?

It's surely time to give it all the !!!!!ing a rest and get on with what's important. And I do think that as so much of this thread has been unpleasant it would be best to close it down and start a new one - hopefully leaving the rubbish behind. For various reasons several popular regulars have been really upset and that is not right.

If you really feel like this and are not just trying to cause trouble ("close it down") why don't you go elsewhere? There's absolutely nothing wrong with this thread - apart from just a couple of people trying to cause trouble.
    Jeremy Corbyn for Prime Minister!
Then we can stop wasting money on warfare, improve the NHS, build more houses for the poor, and improve community services.

When are people going to realise its not the thread its the people. Some nasty comments on here over the last week and on other threads to.. The starter of the post is irrelevant. I have just as much right to be the starter of this thread as anyone else. I would never ask for a thread to be closed because I didn't like the OP. pretty childish if you ask me.

One this is very clear, I have the right to post and will continue to do so. I have as much right as the next person. MSE gave me another chance and I wont be getting PPR again.

Instead of this inhouse fighting lets look forward to the next glitch! that's why im here.. to take advantage and to help others.

Absolutely agree, already suggested it once. Would be great to have a new thread but not sure how many people would follow!
