Evening all.
Been awol:o, with a bit of lurking in between a busy r l.
I got back from my hols and had to organise my Mum's final bits and pieces for her trip leaving a week after I got back. Why are the 'olds' so difficult to please:mad:
I've had a couple of coffee/shopping meets with VT, had a failed Baco bags shop with her:o, and another lovely pedicure. I don't know if she told you, but we're off for a spa day in July. I'm really looking forward to it, as it's something I have never done before.
I'm totally out of the loop with what's glitching/coupons etc, but we've been living off the stash;), with the odd whoopsie run, and some bits from Aldi.
The microwave packed up mid use on Friday, so I hunted for a new one, mse style, and came across a combi, featuring a microwave/grill/convection oven on Amazon.
For anyone who is looking for one it's a Russell Hobbs RHM3003B 30 Litre Black Digital Microwave With Grill & Convection, price £74.99. It's well over £100 elsewhere, so really pleased. Good service from Amazon too as I ordered on Friday and it arrived Sunday morning.:j
I must say big congrats to Mrs stinky on producing such a lovely baby boy. I hope you are both well.
Birthday greetings to those I've missed
I skimmed over the posts that seemed a bit
Thanks to henlans for the thread, as I don't think I've posted since it started. Not for any other reason than real life getting in the way. My take on things is that we should skim over anything that offends us, take a deep breath, and think before posting anything that may prove controversial. If you dislike what someone posts, or a particular person winds you up, put them on ignore. I haven't got anyone on ignore, I'm too nosy :rotfl:
I've taken my early retirement as I think I said before. I've gone back to work two days a week, fixed days and fixed shifts. I have decided that my free time is going to include doing lots of things just for me, things I could never do when the boys were little, when I worked so many hours doing crappy shifts and money was so scarce.
Wow, just read my post, and it's a bit on the long side.:o Sorry about that.
Hope you are all well.

Ive so missed the beautiful photos of Antigua perhaps you can post some more-:)0 -
Seeing I have ordered another mystery box of reds, and we are having lasagne for a very late dinner. I have found from an Italian selection I got last year from Ts, a bottle of red with a gold award for Mr TS to have. He is on holiday this week.
That mojito fizz from M & S is rather nice. £1.49 in my store sure some said it was 99p in theirs. Hopefully there will be some left when I take Mr TS's medium polo shirt back from the fathers day deal. It was too tight.
Not sure how will get on with that hope can just exchange in store for bigger size and not end up getting reduced refund as it was in offer and paying full for another.
Really weird as a large polo shirt I got in the sale last year is huge on him compared to this one.0 -
What's Ting please ?
Thank you I am having a few extra treats now I am maintaining
I would have eaten out but wouldn't have drank much alcohol and I don't do lying in the sun I like walking and exploring. I cant sunbathe would be poorly
Well done on losing the four :T
Ting is a grapefruit fizzy drink, I think originally from Jamaica. I found the cans 30p each in Tesco, on the caribbean shelf. Also in Asda, but in bottles £1 each.
Lovely on a hot day with a drop of voddi, icy cold of course;)
