    Good morning:wave:

Just a flying visit to say hello, it's been a manic weekend and my diary is full this week. I've even had to do a none glitchy h/d for food as I've no idea what's glitchy and what's not:(

I'm also trying to find a decent holiday destination for us this year somewhere like Spain, 3 hr flight max. Not a long transfer from the airport to the hotel and not too busy!!
First time overseas with the monkeys and I want it to be as stress free as possible. So far I've drawn a blank:(
I did find a 4 star hotel but reviews of people being ill as recent as last week certainly crossed that one of my list.

Has anyone ever been to Salou, Malaga that they could recommend or indeed anywhere in Majorca that's not overly busy please?

I'm pretty nervous about the idea of taking them to be honest, too many horror stories floating around but we can't always be in bubble wrap can we? Else what's the point of it all????

Jobs to do now:( I will sneak back in a bit;)

Thank you tweets, I weighed myself this morning and I have lost TWO POUNDS this week yay!!!!! It is not much I know but it is a start and it has given me the willpower to do even better. I think where I normally go wrong is weighing myself daily and one day you lose a pound and next day you put two on so I have been good and done a Monday to Monday weigh in
    Morning all.....x

Well done. 2lb is good. That's a bag of sugar. :T

    Morning,

For the last 2 years we have been to Pollentia Club Resort in Pollensa it is fantastic , we go all inclusive, only left the resort for 1 day to go to the market and wish we hadn't. It is so relaxing and don't have to worry about the kids. My girls were 8 and joined in most activities going on! We normally go this time of year as it is not as busy as in the school holidays. it's not very MSE to actually get there but it's worth it! Good luck in your search but I can 100% recommend this place.

We booked the hotel through hotels.com and flights separate as this way was cheaper, hotels.com had 10% cash back at TCB at the time, therefore we booked our own transfer from airport to hotel. Much easier I think when you have little ones.
We're just happy to have a home, a family and our health. Whatever else is just added and it fits. :)

  • Morning All,

Mum, my parents took us to Palma Nova or Magaluf. Provided you stay in the right resort you're at least a mile away from the party go-ers and instead filled with family holiday makers.

I'd personally reccomend a Sol hotel... our personal favorite was the Sol Guadalupe which is on the outskirts with around 300 metres to the beach, and around 1 mile from the nearest 'club' otherwise in Palma Nova there's the Sol Mirlos Tordos, or again back in Magaluf I'd recomend Sol Antilias Barbados.

Not sure how pricey they are but quality wise, especially in the sense of kids clubs, quality of food, service, pool clenliness etc. There amazing!

It is fun to have someone to shop with although she still needs more training with a hand scanner ;) She gets in a right pickle and then just keeps laughing!
    Beware!!!! Glitching is addictive:rotfl:
