I don't think the thread is dying at all.
My take on it is that shampoo, conditioner, washing powder etc. are things that many of us oldies have far too much of a stock of already.
There's been nothing since the Ariel (after stocking up on Bold that I forgot I'm allergic to) that makes me want to go out & shop.
I, along with others, have cupboards that are far too bulging already. I've been whoopsy shopping but only about once (twice not v. often) a week. My mojo has really gone & I often can't be bothered to shop. I do know most prices & can usually tell immediately if something is good value.
I can't go car booting, hardly ever see anyone and see no point at the moment of creating bigger amounts of 'stock' even if it were free.
Real life and also tiredness has taken over glitching. I do however pop in but nothing at the moment is bringing my mojo back.
So what if newbies take over here? Oldies like me have shopped this way for decades. In a few years time when my stashes are dwindling myself and other oldies might be back, finding the deals again. Then the newbies will also be oldies wondering why the hell they built up so much stash themselves, also ready to take a back seat again.
Next time I will NOT buy over a years stash, glitches often recycle themselves. I for one am looking to get some storage space back - it would be nice!0 -

No that's not what I meant
Obviously making these figures up but
100 lurkers = 10 newbies =1 regular
so less posts less reason to log in etc
But everyone knows what is best for themselvesWhen The Fun Stops Stop0 -

I agree I don't buy as much but what I get from the thread is friendship. That's always free and never runs out.
