Evening to all those that are still up
Back home now after visiting in laws. Had a lovely day with them, both in their eighties and both with problems, but bless them they never complain.
Haven't had a chance to read back yet but will do for as long as I can stay awake.
I hope you all had a lovely day .....right now for the marathon catch up....

Evening just a quick one ;)

The thread/community is dieing for whatever reason
But it seems a lot of the older/regular posters are being pushed out/not feeling comfortable to post

Which is fair enough at the moment there are new posters coming along but these regulars have been here through thick and thin  and kept the thread going through some effluent. Newbies come and go, a few stay and become regulars :T and others only post when they need an answer ;)

Not really sure how to put it but
You Don’t Know What You Have Until It’s Gone ;)

If you only want to fill your larder and are not interested in the well being/sponsorship/lives/solving problems of the other members put people on ignore and your catch up will be just glitch glitch glitch :money:

I will add to this :D

Why is there a conspiracy theory going around that people aren't posting because of who started the thread?? there might be one or two (and that's their right) but it's got to be negligible.

What IS going on is a mass reporting of posts. It takes the forum team at best a couple of days to remove reported posts and at times way longer than that. these posts don't have to be particularly offensive to most, as far as I understand it.....if it's complained about, it'll be removed. We have all noticed we are moving backwards.

The people that are reporting posts can't be doing so in the hope the thread gets shut down....no one is here unless they get something out of it. The reporters might want to think about high maintenance this thread might get to the forum team if the mass reporting goes on. We are one thread out of thousands they have to police.

As for my reason for being absent? Pretty much because real life is more important at the moment. There is also a bit of a glitch in the new style forum software that makes it possible to see what some users are doing in detail :( I'm sure it's not deliberate but it has come to some people's attention that some users on here are looking at other peoples profiles into double figures every single day to see where they are/what they are doing. I find it quite stalkerish :o and I'm not the only one.

if someone chooses not to post for whatever reason.....it's not your right to know why. Live and let live
