    Rose my mum went into her current care come because she was really unable to properly care for herself anymore. I have two brothers and no sisters so to be honest it was left up to me to care for her. I have had a year from hell. I live 120 miles away from my mum and was having to leave DH here on his own so that I could live with mum and care for her. I won't go into the details but not only was I doing everything for her but also her mind went and she was seeing things and hearing things and insisting it was all real. I was sleeping on a camp bed next to her (not that I got much sleep she was calling me most of the night). In the end I got to the point where I said to my brothers that I couldn't take any more and she went into the care home for two weeks to give me a break. She got settled in and when it was time for her to leave she said she wanted to stay. She has friends in there and is happier in herself. I am sorry that you have all this to deal with I know how you must be feeling. Let your sister do her share as you have done yours.....xx
