As for having the shunt put in at 89? I wouldn't put someone through that at that age unless they were fit and otherwise healthy!
Yes I totally agree she is 89 quite frail , immobile most of the time and overweight. We tried to put her on a diet in the weeks leading up to assesment next week but to no avail. She overrode the menu my sister calculated ( and we shopped for) and complained all the time. Th thing is I know what will happen. My sister who lives in Geneva, Nice and UK is retired on a very healthy UN pension together with an Italian Pension and a small British one will persuade her to have it and then disappear. I will be saddled with the calls in the night and will have to stay there as I live the nearest. I know it sounds selfish but it has been such a relief to be free of it the last few months and I dont see why someone else shouldnt step up. As to the lady who comes in she is off next week so when she gets back my sister had better speak to her and sort it out. I hate families.0 -
All boys going good thanks but have got a new parttime job mystery shopping so don't get on here much now:)
Hope your doing well:cool:
Who are you with?
I used to to that, not for the money as always managed a "loss" for HMRC due to travel costs round various restaurants but was a great way to get out for little or no cost
Enjoy but know that we miss you X0
