Well it is very overcast today but I think I will still pop into town for a nosey. I have a very important card to post. My little granddaughter, she is six, brought home a lovely letter from her head teacher saying what a pleasure she is to have in the school, well behaved and always nice to the other children. She said that too often children don't get the praise they deserve. So her nanny has put a little something in a card for her to spend. Now my little grandson, who is seven, well he makes up for it. A whirlwind, always on the go, can't sit still

I am looking for some ideas. My daughter is getting married in August and her friends are being a bit rubbish about arranging a hen do. So I was thinking I might take her away myself for one or 2 days for a treat so that at least she will have a treat. Any ideas- money-saving of course.
I have a lot of airmiles I could use
