Good morning all. Hope everyone has that Friday feeling!0

I had to go and have a read of this - not exactly sure where eldest son is this week but they are doing some sort of exercise
He is at Longmore doing PDT again although he is not actually being posted anywhere ....
I went there as a kid, when I was in the Cadets at school.
Many moons ago, there used to be an old railway there - Longmoor Military Railway https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Longmoor_Military_Railway
I remember the old goods yard I think it was, after the tracks were cleared - it was a vast flat area surrounded by embankments on three sides and used as range. I got to fire one round of a 'Charlie G' https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Carl_Gustav_recoilless_rifle
It was AWESOME !!!!
Total respect for all the guys and girls in the Military, looking after and defending us unconditionally. A tough job at the best of times (major understatement) that is under-regarded by too many peopleAs for you Army Mums (and Dads, Siblings etc), you too deserve respect for all your quiet and loyal support, and all the cr @ p you have to go through in your role.

Good morning HG hope it gets sorted for you today and you don't have to provide too much:coffee:I am having a NSD as it's cleanup operation here for Nannylala as everything in the Kitchen/Diner appears to be covered in a layer of brickdust:eek: due to the new holes that had to be made for the pipework for new boiler
Thanks Nanny. Hopefully they will be gone by early afternoon. Everything from my undersink cupboard is currently stacked in the dining room so I will have to get that all back into place once the work is done. At least they are making the dust outside0 -
Good morning everyone :hello:Ooh I thought that was a bit rude till I saw it was yourself posting nannylala
I wonder how many are older than me on here maybe we should have a list
Good Morning all.
Can anyone enlighten me on the hipp baby food please as Ruby s eating them ? Do I buy 10 and fillers ? Hopeless Susie
You need to buy 11 of the same flavour and 1 more of any flavour (the 11 should be £1 and 10 for £6 in Tesco) and all 12 should be in the 12 for £6 deal in Asda too.#CHEEKY :cool:0 -
I've been having a few nights like this.
The other night I gave up and I went and wrote the next days To Do list - helped get the dross out of my head - that night I managed 3 hours sleep and felt like the walking dead next day,
Last night OH was making dreadful noises in his sleep so I came downstairs again, got a glass of water - 3 cats all sound asleep on their fleeces on their sides of the sofa - so calm and serene compared to the cacophony upstairs.
I bedded down with the cats and I was asleep even before I drunk my water.
Its light now at 4 and this does not help but of I get up very early I end up falling asleep watching Eastenders :rotfl:
You wouldn't be able to do that in this house - the cat would drink the water for you. DH likes to take a glass to bed with him but these days he has to use one of those insulated coffee cups with a lid and a little hole to sip through after several times being awoken to the sound of kitty drinking noises :rotfl:0 -

We have gone for the Biotec facial day. I like the tri enzyme Elmis facial and with this package facial works out half price.
Lots of packages, last year we did a £69 day and had extra treatments.
You get a light breakfast and good lunch plus bubbly with both and afternoon pot of tea. If you want to spend on extras in cafe you have to register a card on arrival. Long walk back if you forget.
Had a good drive and got to hotel around 8 pm.
V x:rotfl: I've got visions of LS going down the road hanging onto a rope on the back of your car wearing roller skates (water skiing style)

See what I mean about our small island?
I'm sat with a blanket around me having homemade soup while Hampy is feasting outside with paella :rotfl:
Morning luvlies, thank TM, yes Stan has to get involved in our lives, thinks he's missing out.
Shame about your weather, I'll try and send some sun your wayToday however, there's been a drop in temperature here. Just ironed a wrap for DD1's shoulders as she's off to Ascot any minute. Ladies day and she looks lovely even with her 5 month bump, you wouldn't know she was pregnant
I'm round hers best part of this morning as she's having a new front door fitted, so I'm in her sitting room watch Jezza Kyle. Morning TV is such a treat for me:happylove Nanny to 2 Cherubs :happylove0 -

Sophie does the same - when I had a bad throat I started making sure I had water next to the bed so I didn't wake up gasping. Sophie was very impressed with the new facility. So now I have to have a little ramekin with water in for her and if its not full or fresh she will sit and stare pointedly at it :rotfl:“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove.
