Random question, I know a couple of you have Aloe Vera plants, have they ever flowered for you? One of mine has, the mother plant, it has a long stem about 2ft high with lots of little buds on the top. It just seems to be getting taller by the day. The flowers haven't even started opening yet. I just wondered if anybody else has experienced this.

None of mine have ever flowered. I have about 10 :D I'd love for them to show me how much they appreciate all the love and care they get :rotfl:

just as, go ahead and post your pic, thread should be ok :) I'm on iPad and don't have my pics on here, they're on laptop. When the flower dies off they look so scruffy :rotfl: :rotfl:

Have you googled aloe Vera pics, you will see flower on there
I have and think mine might be the ugliest of them all....I will give a pic a shot on here. Going to go back to first page and see if I can make sense of it.

I had a 3 month entertainment pass with the box I bought at Christmas. When I came to cancel online they offered me 4 months @ £3.99 per month to stay so worth checking. Not sure if this also works on movies pass.

Can't comment on the box as I use my codes through my PS3. But if you have a different payment card & email I believe you can get further free trial months (I know this works on Netflix - think Now works too.)
Went to cancel our Movie pass for the NowTV Box and they offered it for 4 Months for £5.

Albeit we accepted, having Netflix and now a Chromecast, the Movies pass is pretty much redundant to me at the moment. ;)

Thank you for the link. I have no idea why this poor plant has flowered. It doesn't get fed but I do water it. Looking at the colour of mine it looks like it could do with a good meal. I am going to get some feed for it, I didn't realise it needed plant food. No wonder most of my plants give up on me....

Yes I think there is somewhere close by as OH says he is "going to take it to be weighed in" - that's not happened either - I don't think its high value scrap - mostly storage heater covers, parts of swing etc

I seem to think there also used to be a scrap man that went around an estate close to us but like the council tip men I am also scared of the scrap metal chaps :rotfl:

but now I've got the house looking a bit tidier before the visitor arrives I think I am going to go and shuffle stuff around outside to see if I can make it any better looking.

There is also a set of wheels - possibly a car we had over 25 years ago - no idea why OH is keeping these.
And the 5 litre bottles of waste oil - no idea what you do this this - OH wont even think of putting it in the car.

the oil can be burnt by some industrial heaters, you could offer it on freecycle......scap left in the front garden usually just "goes"..be brave xxxx
