I am always trying to get my Mum to keep her cards away from her purse but she won't, even when I gave her a nice leather pouch for it. (One of those No7 ones which were £1 with a voucher.) Once she dropped her purse at Euston and a lady chased her to give it back to her but it hasn't made her change how she does things or even put a tenner somewhere different so she isn't ever without cash. :(

The trouble is old habits die hard as they say but even though I am the age I am I am very shrewd and always alert as far as looking after myself in that respect and very careful about certain things involving my safety in the house and outside .I would describe myself as a wise ol bird;) and quite worldly.

I have an actifry rarely use it:o

My brother is the same. I resisted one of those because it takes up so much space. I've the Duronic one -- got it when it was reduced -- and now would not be without it. It is especially good when samosa are whoopsied! It's footprint is about the same as my large toaster and it sits happily in the corner of the kitchen so is easy to use.

You and dipdap are moving within a few days of each other then, are you all sorted?

Bless I was thinking of dip the other day, hope she's doing ok :)

To be honest not really ,the house has taken a bit of a back seat recently as we have had a few issues with the eldest ds, poor lad was hoping to join the army and attend army college in September and unfortunately has been medically deferred as he has a heart murmur which we were hoping was an error or minor considering how fit and healthy he is but turns out it's worse than we thought

I should not admit this...but I put my last laptop on the fire!

OH went mad as the only issue was the battery was not holding a charge for long, no needed to be used plugged in!

I am not surprised OH went mad!!!! I have to confess that this made me giggle. So I shall say goodnight with a smile. Thank you Sunshinemummy!
