e mail received today giving me direct debit details. As soon as the dd appears on my bank list then I will cancel it. Perhaps that will make ovo get their act in gear re my file. Maybe they will even phone me

    another case for watchdog perhaps

I have sent you a PM as promised

    katejo thanks for pm

Look out for that dd, mine was in the bank today and I have duly cancelled at the bank as per the dd guarantee

Ovo has a lot more wrong than a supply transfer problem. They don`t seem to be able to stop e mails or bank instructions going out by different departments. I was assured three times by different people, that the dd had been cancelled, the dd was still lodged

If I were on ovo then I would be very watchful of the amounts going out too. They were set to take out 25% more than my yearly estimated amount, in advance. My ( previous and now present) supplier always sent me a bill for actual usage. Asking to transfer to ovo was a big mistake but I went on saving a small amount plus a recommended best buy re customer service

Done it, I have set the complaints ball rolling and have filled in the form to ovo. Date is now noted on my personal ovo file and the clock is ticking

I was recently widowed and had a similarly shambolic experience with a building society and I made an official complaint with them. The complain had the desired effect. If this is not resolved in 8 weeks time then then the ombudsman service will follow it through and ovo have to be pro active from the moment I made the official complaint

Are you referring to Which reviews here? If so, I went by the same one. Will send you a PM later. I intend to contact Which myself later.

I just had a call from old supplier, don`t know why I ever wanted to transfer from them, they have rung me twice now, brilliant cs. Ovo rang them, amazing what a complaint will do btw, gets things moving. My old supplier rang to say that they were back to supplying me at the same rate and nothing would change with them

Ovo still have 8 weeks to get me off ET. I am not happy with ovo and will pursue this to the end. It is completely their fault that I am on ET

Today I got a standard "Sorry you left us" letter from my old supplier so I rang up to say that this wasn't the case. They looked at my records and said that Ovo had started the transfer back to them. I just have to wait for that to be finished before switching to their new tariff. I have also emailed Which to ask if they are aware of the speeded up transfers and associated problems.

ovo just send me an e mail telling me that I had a problem with the direct debit :rotfl: I told them 3 different times that I was cancelling. They told me that my old supplier would be providing my electricity.

The case against them sure is stacking up for the ombudsman. Ovo is carp
