I personally don't think you were unreasonable, just unrealistic. In a way, it can be put down to good experience for your son, in terms of what he can expect from renting but also what it is like to own a house and having to deal with issues. One of the great parts of being a child is never having to face such stress and anxiety, but there comes a day when you appreciate that you can't take for granted the roof over your head.

Annie, I am pleased this is sorted but I do think for future reference that sometimes it is useful to include more inform rather than less.

There is plenty of information from your back posts about the course your son is on and other health issues so it is not a secret. Maybe just including the facts would have been more useful.

I am pleased he has new accommodation and things are improving.

You have seriously gone through my history to find all that out?
There was no reason to include more information, it was about a broken boiler in a rented house.

Yes, like many other people when someone excludes information it takes two minutes to get a fuller picture. It's an open forum, what would you expect?
