:blushing:Same thing happened with my Laptop and Ipad. A fizzy drink had spilled on the spacebar, causing it to be sticky. I checked the labels and there was likewise no DO NOT PUT IN WASHING MACHINE. Looking at the fingermarks on my Ipad screen and being sure to check that it was machine washable, by its LACK of a label warning it wasn't, I decided to put them both in a hot wash.
It wasn't until it had run a full spin cycle, that I realised there was an issue. I rang Apple customer careline and explained the scenario and how to go about a full refund........They laughed at me.
Girly girls like our glitter and can't figure our pretty little brains round this?!
It has to be pink too!!!!0 -
I washed a pink pair of converse in the washing machine and ruined them because the colour faded out completely (which didn't happen with my navy blue ones that wash well). Didn't even consider contacting retailer and just accepted it as my mistake.
If my shoes get muddy I usually just bang them on a wall outside when they are dry now, but if they are really bad I rinse them with the shower head in the bath with lukewarm water and rub with my fingers which usually does the trick.0 -
