The lender and surveyor are all one Woolwich/Barclays owned the survey company (Ekins) As my survey was organised by the lender and was a Homefile you can sue the lender,if you instruct a survey above this you only have recourse against the surveyor.

I have issued a writ against Barclays.

Sorry who said I did not pay for the survey I did you seem very keen to make decisions without all the facts.
The lender did not disclose the full facts in the survey and this has been stated in court and Barclays have not challenge this matter.

They are in the wrong and have lied all along as can be proven from their written documents.
What type of writ has the court issued? Have they ruled against Barclays in your favour? Are Barclays refusing to obey a courts order?

It seems to be all over the place and you are making little sense.

Try taking a deep breath and starting again.

As the court case is still ongoing there are certain things I unfortunately cannot disclose.Barclays are at present refusing to acknowledge me in any way but apparently that is standard procedure.

Keep checking this post I will attach the press link this week as the full story is going out in the newspaper and will be in the Huffington Post.

Do you really think I have nothing else to do but make stories and post them on this forum, maybe that's your thing but not mine.

A coherent story detailing the full facts so people don't have to ask you 5 times to get the answer would give it more credibility.

It doesn't surprise me that you are in this situation.

There are certain things you can't disclose but the full story is going to national press this week? Make your mind up! Surely you can see why its sounding a bit muddled to the rest us?

While it makes for a good story in the tabloids, logic dictates that CB18 will not succeed with any any legal proceedings.

The survey that was performed on the property was for the benefit of Barclays. Upon receipt of the survey, Barclays must decide whether the property is suitable to lend on. There was some kind of internal error which meant that Barclays accepted the property for lending when they shouldn't have.

Barclays screwed up, but they screwed themselves. If OP walks away from the property and declares bunkruptcy, Barclays are left with an asset worth only 30k and will make a big loss.

CB18 doesn't have a leg to stand on. CB18 does not have a contract with the surveyor. The judge will throw this out in 5 minutes.

Muddled to you,you should be on this end every time I chase Barclays up for info in a SAR I get more of their deception. I have 20,000 pages from them and most of it is useless.

As for you thinking this all made up,everyone is entitled to their opinion.

I posted this incase it may help someone in similar circumstances not to be called a liar.

Well i hope you get somewhere with this, however i still think you have made a serious error in stopping you rmortgage payments.

It may help if you try to be a little less emotive about this. Your assertion that 'Barclays are running a mile due to the legal case' is quite frankly, ridiculous given that

sep 14 - Barclays fined £38,000,000 for putting clients assets at risk
May 15 Barclay fined £248,432,000 for forex scandal part of a larger
    $1,500,000,000,000 fine.

So they may be contesting your claim but i doubt they are running a mile.
    £1000 Emergency fund No90 £1000/1000
    LBM 28/1/15 total debt - [STRIKE]£23,410[/STRIKE] 24/3/16 total debt - £7,298

The survey was not for your benefit. It's for their's. They had no obligation to even show you the report, and if they choose to lend on a property that is falling down, that's their business decision.

If you get anything out of this it will be purely a goodwill gesture. And you will be very, very lucky.
