Jumping for joy to kick-start June with the money from my Amazon book sales at end of last month which finally hit my bank account overnight. That's £39.13 to add:j.

Ready to blow a gasket with OH about sale of a set of new alloy wheels I fixed up for him . I won them specially for him in a competition several years ago for one of his previous cars. Typically, he never got round to putting them on, changed the car and has never needed them since. I kept [STRIKE]nagging[/STRIKE] advising him to get them sold while the individual boxes were still pristine, but no go. I researched the prices, managed to find a buyer (and that wasn't easy, I didn't want to 'give them away'), did loads of communicating with him regarding directions to find us (very out-of-the-way location:(). Had to go out myself, thought OH could handle it better anyway;). Came back to find he'd refused to sell them after all at the price me and the 'buyer' had agreed because OH thought the guy was a chancer:eek:. They are now back on the shelf in the garage and I'm washing my hands of the whole thing:mad:. It's not as if I was going to make anything out of the sale. Even though I won them and I suppose technically they were mine I did give them to OH so I suppose he was entitled to the money. And, trust me, he would have kept every penny, though I lived in hope he might give me a bit of 'commission':(. If he can afford to forgo over £300 that's his loss!

What a start to a nice new month, me ranting away. Sorry:o:o:o

    Hi,

I sometimes browse these monthly threads for some inspiration but thought I would join in this month to help me keep motivated!

I'll aim for £10 a day as £300 would mean I can book a few days away somewhere over the summer without having a month of no money going into my savings account.

Looking forward to reading all your money saving tips and ideas. Good luck all :)
I enjoy money-saving and am slowly entering the world of online earnings - aiming to pay for Christmas 2015 from extra income earned in 2015.

well done! I am not selling mine, it was just a dress from phase 8 and I love it... :D it wasn't a big white wedding, so this I will wear again.

Good luck with your gold challenge. :jI will post some stuff over the week to help you achieve it but I need to go clean and do house stuff, had not internet this morning.

I will post a little everyday otherwise I get told of by DH for being on computer and need to look for a salaried job. Its hard work as you sit and read job description. pull up cv, edit to make it apply and then before you know it, school run time and nothing else achieved! DH doesn't believe me but seeing as he has never needed a cv... or had to apply for jobs with one....

    Thanks Aesop.

I am still way down on my goals, mainly due to my time consuming but adorable (if I may say so) little surprise baby who is six months old this week.

I'm slowly getting my mojo back - even redeemed on Dooyoo this weekend!

    June goals: $100/£30
