I've had an email through from Sainsburys about an event they're doing where for every £10 you spend you get 200 Nectar points. Has anyone ever tried combining these things with their brand match? i.e. if I spent £10 on branded stuff that would have cost £5 in Asda (for argument's sake), would I get the 200 points as well as the £5 voucher for my next shop?

Any advice gratefully received, and hopefully it's good news so we can all benefit! :)
I enjoy money-saving and am slowly entering the world of online earnings - aiming to pay for Christmas 2015 from extra income earned in 2015.
    So far: Bubblews £16.19 . Swagbucks £25, Neobux £1.29, Clixsense -.
Freebies/wins 2015: 2 x Convent Garden soup boosters, mini L'Oreal foundation, LG smartphone, mini Clinique face wash.

yes you would, as they are 2 different offers.

i think have put the link in the second or third post of something that you should look at before going shopping. it compares your shopping for you ;) so you can check if your current shopping list will create a Br$nd mat%h for you.

Thanks Aesop - well anyone else with Nectar, may be worth checking your emails as it seems to be running for about a month so could be a worthwhile event :)

can I join for £10 again please, unexpectedly had a very expensive weekend. My nan fell ill with ?meningitis so drove up north to see her in hospital, had to stay in a hotel as someone forgot to leave her keys in her keysafe and then got a puncture on my way home so am about £300 down so need to reclaim as much of that as possible.
I will start with 73p from apptrailers and waiting for a sb voucher.

Been a busy weekend with DS, and think I haven't made any money.

I do have free listings again on ebay, so will be doing some listing.

    Found another useful site

it is called an Osper card - it is a prepaid debit card using mastercard for kids age 8-18.

You as the parent, guardian, family member, friend of the family can load the debit card with a minimum of £5. The child then has a pin number which allows them to withdraw the cash at a cashpoint, or use chip and pin instore.

The point is to teach kids how to manage their money from an early age and to get them used to thinking about their spending. They may want to start saving rather than spending, for the bigger things in life they want.

My DS wants the new craze bayblades and I am not a big fan of buying the latest stuff as it in fashion. that's the way I was brought up.

So I have signed him up for this card and his Dad has given him some money to spend - £10. I am going to load this to his card and say you have a choice. You can buy your beyblades after Grandparent's visit or spend it on whatever you want, ie sweets, comics, etc.

I want to teach him from a young age to look at savings and spending carefully rather than freely. He already has a savings account with Metro bank. He loves putting his coins into the coin counter and seeing it added to his bank account.

This way he can choose whether he wants to save for the bigger things in life or spend it. He already says to me, "Mummy, you have amazon, beyblades are on there for 99p....." I don't have any amazon vouchers as spent my last lot on buying him a pirate dress up outfit.

Anyway I digress. This way he chooses beyblade or wait for mummy to build up amazon....

As always a referral file is here, and don't forget if you sign up to leave your own.
