Hi everyone. After a few months of Aesop telling me about this thread and suggesting I joined, I am. I think for June I will try for £5 a day but once get into it, hopefully from July will try for £10. I do a few survey sites but have lost my mojo with SB, so going to get back into that and read the first few pages and sign up for other things. Luckily my friend is putting all the apps on my new phone for me.

I've been thinking about taking the advice on here and getting a separate phone for apps (think Aesop suggested it, apologies if not). Seen this one:

    http://www.amazon.co.uk/Vodafone-Smart-Mini-Pay-Handset/dp/B00KVE6RGG/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1433539113&sr=8-1&keywords=android+phone

Hi MG, I looked on my phone but couldn't see how much memory it had, so logged on to check and they actually don't tell you in the spec. Luckily someone has posted in their review.

this is a great little phone with latesish software so should work fine, camera is basic but if you are not using to take photos should be ok.

I assume you are on vodafone and want to stay with them. This phone has great reviews and looks like it will do the job, so I say go ahead and purchase it.

If you join kidstart and are paying cash, you can earn cashback from amazon. I posted about it earlier. And as always there is a referral file on referral board.

If paying in vouchers, cashback sites won't pay out, so don't worry about them.

When you have phone, post, as I will tell you how to remove bloatware, to give you more memory on phone. x

Thanks Aesop that's really helpful and thanks for your kind offer of helping to free up memory space too. :) I wasn't planning on using it as a phone as I use my other phone for that, was just going to use it for apps and connect it to my home wifi to free up space on my main phone iyswim.

I'll sign up to kidstart (always good to have a choice with cashback sites) although i'll be paying for the phone with vouchers this time, but i'm sure it'll be handy for the future.

Bought a £20 Am@zon voucher off Zeek last night. It only cost me £9 with my £10 promo voucher so i'll be adding that to my total now.

Right, off to order a phone ;) Hope everyone has a lovely, relaxing Saturday... with a bit of earning thrown in of course,:rotfl:

Reading all the chat about getting a spare android phone just for apps has got me thinking. ..

I had an iPhone til I swapped to android a month or so back. I used to make a lot on field agent app but it's not avail for android. I've recycled my iPhone but was wondering if I got an old iPhone off eBay I'd be able to use it in the same way for apps? Any thoughts anyone?

you can, for swags, you can only get 4 apps, 6 available on android.

yes you could do stuff on it, that is only available to iPhone users like field agent so would soon pay for itself.

I too was hoping for a nice £70m but didn't win a penny - ah well, at least you can put some of your small win towards the £80m on Tuesday! :)

I'm due a new phone soon (looking at the best options with cashback etc at the moment) but my old smartphone is still working well, so I'm going to use Aesop's great idea of using the old phone as a spare for apps etc.

Also, I was always amazed at how everyone manages to find so much roadkill but I had my own little haul yesterday - found a pound coin under the shelving unit in the living room when cleaning the other day, which then inspired me to dig around under the sofa cushions yielding an extra 26p. I must clean more often!! :rotfl:

Total so far = £4.65 (£0.50 reduced price food, £2.89 interest, £1.26 road kill)
I enjoy money-saving and am slowly entering the world of online earnings - aiming to pay for Christmas 2015 from extra income earned in 2015.
    So far: Bubblews £16.19 . Swagbucks £25, Neobux £1.29, Clixsense -.
Freebies/wins 2015: 2 x Convent Garden soup boosters, mini L'Oreal foundation, LG smartphone, mini Clinique face wash.
