windscreen ticket no NTK letter

Options
We received a windscreen ticket on 5/4/15.

We've yet to receive a NTK, doesn't that have to be received between 29 & 59 days?

By my reckoning day 59 is tomorrow?

Or am I reading this all wrong?

only if they are wanting to rely on POFA 2012 , only for england and wales

if they are not relying on POFA 2012, then it could take a lot longer, if at all

the correct period is from day 29 to day 56 , not 59

    29 - 56 days.

Which PPC? Some just shoot straight to debt collectors, which should then trigger a complaint from you to the BPA (assuming the PPC is a BPA AOS member).

Sorry could've sworn it was 59 days, no idea where I got that number from.

PPC is PCM parking control management.

Edited to add yes I am in England

They are a member of the IPC AOS. A number of them don't pursue keeper liability using the assumption, on the balance of probabilities, that the keeper was the driver. Therefore the POFA time limits are of no relevance. There is even more reason in this case not to contact the PPC as there may be an inadvertent outing of the driver.

So, you need to wait to see what their next move is - come back if/when you get anything further from them.

Ok I will do, was kinda hoping it was game over. I suffer from anxiety and its playing on my mind a bit. But hubby is the actual driver/keeper, so is in the driving seat both literally and figuratively speaking.

Kinda complicated by the fact the company employing the PPC is our housing association.

Make a complaint to them. What does your lease agreement say about parking?

What was the reason for the ticketing?

Have made several complaints to them, no joy. Just keep telling me it's between us and the PPC. Even told them that was rubbish as they'd employed PCM to patrol the garages, so they (the HA) could instruct PCM to quash the ticket. Having no luck that route at all. I was going to appeal to PMC, but due to the length of time HA took to reply I'd missed the deadline plus OH reckons ignore it and it will go away. Unfortunately my anxiety won't allow me to completely ignore it.

Reason for ticket was parked within a restricted area ( from memory)

You're in semi-ignore mode now. You just have to await their next move. Sorry, but there's no hey presto solution.

Ok thank you. I will await their next move, was just hoping that as they hadn't sent out a NTK within the correct timeframe it was game over. And I could relax knowing I'd have that to throw them.

    So we will wait.
