City break suggestions.

Rome is lovely but I found it very hit in early September. I've heard Dubrovnik is fantastic but again it might be too hot. So how about Iceland, Barcelona, Venice, Paris, Florence, Bruges, Munich, etc although some of these might be very hot but perhaps worth it if the chance of an adult break is a rare again? Is there anything you particularly would like to do that you can't do everywhere or a city you'd like to go and would be least suitable with the children? Any food or drink you particularly like and maybe we could point you towards the best location?Don't listen to me, I'm no expert!0

Another vote for Prague. Cheap and very, very beautiful and not particularly crowded even in July - you'll have no problem finding a bar on the river to while away a lazy evening after a day doing museums and castles and whatever.0
