Copenhagen and Gdansk are places I've been recently and thoroughly enjoyed.
Worth looking at and seeing if they have what you need.
Change is inevitable, except from a vending machine.

I like Lisbon. It has a similar vibe to Barcelona but is cheaper, smaller and with fewer pickpockets. It doesn't have a beach itself but there are some lovely seaside towns a short train ride away.

The best city break I have done recently was Krakow in Poland for a mix of history and very cheap food and drink.

    North Yorkshire....

Do an 'everywhere' search on skyscanner from NCL, Teeside and LBA airports and see what places are available at good prices with suitable flight timings.

Valencia city - Spain. The best city break destination, not so crowded, full of terraces and bars, good food, good weather and many more. Check the link from my profile for a complete guide, Things to do Valencia.
