Why run the risk of leaving the car on a road if the use is subjective? Park it in another public place that is not a road.
Absolutely agree, especially if you could do without the aggro of defending it if it was challenged!
Personally I quite enjoy taking on "da man" when appropriate but I'd rarely suggest that others do because it's their sleepless nights not mine in that case

All advice is greatly appreciated and I've moved it to a place I call the outback (although most people here seem to refer to it as 'out the back'.) It's private land according to the land registry, but the owner says things like "its common land" and "its a public right of way", so he doesn't have to clean up the detritus that gets dumped there.
I'll do as much pre-MOT as I can, but ultimately don't know anyone with insurance on 'any vehicle', so I've booked a mechanic to give it the once over and drive it to his favourite testing station on Friday.0 -
